That's exactly what I was looking for. Thank you for the validation. Some of our fellow enthusiasts here are just too stuck up to break tradition or try things out for themselves before making condescending comments on other people's post ( super not helpful). I guess this nsight can only come...- ybbobserrot

It's YOUR opinion dude. People don't necessarily need to follow what you're saying. Others not like you like to experiment with stuff they bought with their own money.- ybbobserrot

As @Joe Bloggs explained in this thread (page 28), it's just a plug-and-play thing. Go to Settings > Audio > USB Audio and enable "USB Audio Output". Enjoy!- ybbobserrot

I'm currently playing my FLAC files locally on the R4 and attached the Hiby FC6 to it. Ever since I started doing this, the unit's temperature has not reached beyond 35 degrees Celsius and I would get more than 11 hours of play time. Even driving the Sundara at 90% volume at high gain doesn't...- ybbobserrot

Neither product is good or bad in terms of sound quality; they're just different. The Mojo is out of stock at Amazon ($450 ish) versus Hiby R4 ($249 direct store). They're not in the same price category. They're probably like women—one is bright and intelligent but analytical and critical, and...- ybbobserrot

If you use Bluetooth primarily, it's still lossy, even if it's on LDAC. Aren't you not maximizing the R4's capabilities (for wired)? Just asking:dt880smile:- ybbobserrot

Na ah. I'm not that brave and I'm not looking for a reason to hate my R4. Let's wait and see. But thank you for your very quick response. I haven't personally experienced this kind of good service before tbh.- ybbobserrot

I'm not detecting any night-day difference. It's just all those volume limit warning pop-ups and some additional audio settings, which I don't really care for. It's really stable, and I haven't had any cases of all the bugs reported with the second beta firmware so far (fingers crossed). I'll...- ybbobserrot

Honesty is still the best policy... at least you're (Hiby is) not trying to cover this up and we can certainly see you are doing your best to address the issues with as much sensible information. Well done! If only other brands have similarly capable representatives in these forums.- ybbobserrot

That is so strange. The bugs seem to affect select units. My own course of action is to treat each firmware update with caution as well. I'll have to wait until there are no more complaints before I upgrade😂- ybbobserrot

It's probably a blessing in disguise that when I downloaded the latest new official firmware, it wouldn't install within Android or through recovery mode. With all these bugs popping up, I'm sticking to my current firmware, which is, btw, the 2nd beta. I downloaded the OG firmware, but since I...- ybbobserrot

Great review! Can you verify if this indeed does not bypass the source like what was discussed in another thread here in Head-fi?- ybbobserrot

The biggest phone brands have this like Samsung. It lengthens the battery life by not letting it go full cycle. In turn, this feature should let us enjoy our DAPs much longer.- ybbobserrot
