    Best IEM tips?

Can you share a link to purchasing the Oriolus tips from the US? Are these not available on Aliexpress?

    Rank the IEM's you've heard

    Ier-m9 / m7 didn't fit me well at all

    The discovery thread!

All these talks of the Dusk 2 and the DaVinci and the Mega5est as the new mid-fiers in town, and I'm finally buying the RSV three years late! Super excited though! :dt880smile:

What eartips are those? I want to buy some OG Oriolus eartips but the official website charges $50 for shipping!

    ~ $400-range IEM

Oh I'm sorry I thought you'd listed mmk3 as an option you could buy. For mid-fi, also maybe try some non-chifi items like sony or elysian or symphonium products?

    ~ $400-range IEM

If I were you I would go with the MMk3 and save time from the mid-fi pathway

Well, not $100 to them, and in any case they would have to include some tips, right :)

Pentaconn's first IEM- the Scyne a01! Single in-house 10.2mm DD, made in Japan, and, you guessed it, with Pentaconn connectors! Priced at around $850.

I'd recommend the Trifecta over the Rn6, but it may be a good idea to cable roll to get Trifecta's overshadowed, pushed-back vocals come out a little more.

Volur's bass is just amazing. I am not a basshead by any means and care for treble quality and soundstage much more, but even I am blown away by its quality. The quantity can be managed via the modules (you may like m12 and mx), but the quality - resolution, extension, etc. etc. remains...

Lotoo PAW Gold Touch - Touchscreen, 4.4mm Bal, USB DAC, Bluetooth

Me neither. I had a Hiby and an iBasso in the past. Never going Android ever again. 2.5 years in, my Lotoos as fast as Day 1

Paw 6000 is much more pocket friendly. Also, in some cases I did prefer the intimate staging on the LP6K vs the LPGT Ti. It sounds more 'correct'

Interesting; I do understand a lot of Urdu too as it's referenced in modern Hindi haha. Exactly what I meant by playing to her strengths. I see she performed in Coke Studio Pakistan. If you haven't and are interested, I will recommend checking out the whole Coke Studio Pakistan 14 album. It's...

Aah interesting. I hadn't heard of her though I speak Hindi. Curious about the market she caters to.

Because her English has an accent and so play to the strengths of Indian classical singing?

Haha this is so true! I haven't heard any set except the Twilight but I'll blind buy the Enigma if it turns out to be a bassy RSV with TOTL resolution :)

I'm someone looking for just ONE do-it-all earphone that suits my tuning preference, nails fit & comfort even in long listening sessions, isolates noise well, and resolves music like it's no one's business. All this while adhering to the use case I chose for myself- dedicated portable audio-...

Head to Wan Chai Computer Center in Wan Chai, DMA in Causeway Bay, or SK HK and other audio stores in Mong Kok. You could easily spend a whole day in Mong Kok.

Maybe give the Trailli a go for vocals. Best vocals IMO (do I even need to add an IMO here? :dt880smile:)

Though these ADV tips didn't work sound wise for the IEM pairing I was trying them with, they were extremely comfortable to wear because of the shape. Hope companies keep working on these shape of tips. Also super nice support over at ADV.

In the midst of high-end cable conversations, a shout out to the Campfire Trifecta stock cable! Loving that it's thin, has zero microphonics, and it's curve and form around my ear is just perfect. Pretty certain SQ improvements will come with cable rolling but the sound with stock is pretty good...
