I must suck at googling because I can't find any specs on the driver. I am pretty sure that the most important thing in a IEM or headphone is the driver. Found oodles of techno jargon on the cables, connectors, aluminum, titanium, machining, plating and even ear tips. The only spec for the...- sunneebear

Krell KSA 5 Clone (China)
I have used headphones on speaker outputs many times. They don't always sound good. The KSA is only 6 watts but that will still be very loud for some headphones. Just take it easy with volume knob.- sunneebear

I suggest you get one of these stereo headphone sockets. Connect it to the speaker outputs of the amplifier with a length of wire and see if you like the sound.- sunneebear

I bought this to use with the Hifiman HE6. You can use a 50 watt amp with that headphone with no problems. It would be a issue with other headphones. what are you planing to plug into this?- sunneebear

Elekit TU-8200 DX Headphone/Speaker Amp Review
I just got my hands on a pair of Tekton Designs The Perfect SET 15. Very good synergy with this amp. A big speaker designed for flea amps. Dial at 7:30-8:00 it is very loud. .- sunneebear

Introducing LUNA by DUNU, the world's first pure beryllium rolled foil diaphragm flagship dynamic in-ear! (Page 18: Loan Tour Announcement)
Nice save. No doubt you know your stuff. Could be just me but all that space program stuff started to sound like a infomercial after a few sentences. I prefer direct tech and spec talk about a product and not a long winded story to hype the product like a infomercial.- sunneebear

Introducing LUNA by DUNU, the world's first pure beryllium rolled foil diaphragm flagship dynamic in-ear! (Page 18: Loan Tour Announcement)
Should have went in another direction than the comparison to NASA and the Apollo Program. Really, a whole page of smack comparing Dunu to the Apollo Program? It only took tens of thousands of people and some of the greatest minds of the time to get man to the moon and this IEM is compared to that?- sunneebear

Sony NW-ZX300
Even with the balanced output, the Sony does not drive hard to drive headphones and IEMs well. Most noticeable is in the bass. The Questyle sounds like a desktop amp. Not that it is not warmer or bassier overall. It just handles the bass and punch better than the Sony when using planars and...- sunneebear

In my opinion it would only be for aesthetics. I don't know if it would help the sound. There used to be some people that made wood cups for senns and beyers but I don't know if they are still in business.- sunneebear

Nothing wrong but a little funny. Purk's avatar is the Sony R-10 nicknamed the king of headphones. He is the one person here I envy because he has the R -10 and the Qualia 010. You should look those up.- sunneebear

Sony CD3000 Thread
The leather set that I received were really tight. Seems to be on the small side. For comfort, the original pleather is best and the plastic being worst. For sound, same order. The aftermarket leather pads did nothing to help the bass. Someone needs to come out with a big thick memory foam...- sunneebear

Elekit TU-8200 DX Headphone/Speaker Amp Review
Sadly the TU-8500 only has four inputs. If you only need four, most relay type selectors start at four and are very cheap. Kits came be had for $20. Those RCA line level attenuators affect the sound. In the 90's I tri-amped my speakers. I used different amps to suite the characteristics of...- sunneebear
