Comment by 'Phishin Phool' in item 'HIFIMAN SUNDARA'
So I just picked up a pair of these (open box for $199) as they get a lot of love and currently I did not own any planar magnetics (had a modded Fostex TRP50 in the past). Also I was looking for an open back portable pair of headphones. My go to headphones are Stax Electrostats followed by my...- Phishin Phool

The Stax Thread III
With the holidays approaching I usually end up with some extra cash and grab some A/V tech. I was wondering with condition and price being fairly equal (within $25 USD) which is a better unit the SRM-1 / MK-2 Pro-Pro or the SRM-006t and would either be a significant enough upgrade over a SRM 252 ?- Phishin Phool

Played both Nioh and Nioh 2 a ton. Nioh 2 is just a tad better than Wo Long IMHO although Wo Long has some new mechanics (morale/fortitude level) that really add a new dimension.- Phishin Phool

Bowers & Wilkins P7 Wireless - Impressions Thread
I initially had PX wireless. I replaced with p7 wireless for better sound. That recently was stolen from my SUV in a break in so I am looking to find a bluetooth wireless headphone. I really liked the p7 but finding one in good condition and priced well is challenging. Are there any...- Phishin Phool

About 1/2 way through WO Long now (I'm a bit of a completionist). YOu hit on the big thing Wo Long and Nioh are terrible about explaining or giving you info. THat makes it so much more frustrating but there is you tube so it can all be explained but that shouldn't fall on the communities...- Phishin Phool

I like audiosurf, you use your own music and then it is like part tetras part guitar hero. There is also a shooter that reacts and adjust to your music Beat Hazard.- Phishin Phool

I love me some FROM SOFTWARE. The Demon's Souls remake is great in a lot of ways, gorgeous and enjoyable. Bluepoint being true to the original and not changing any gameplay was a bold move and the game does show it's age at times. To me the most frustrating thing is that the lock on distance is...- Phishin Phool

I finished it recently. I played on regular difficulty. The combat is what it is mostly I used the twirling fire blades but more of the spear towards the end. The linearity of the game does open up somewhat closer to the end as there are more side quests and things to do. I enjoyed the story...- Phishin Phool

The Stax Thread III
So I finally got around to EQ'ing my L300 with blue tack mod and I must say that my other headphones are going to be quite lonely. I may occasionally use my Fostex TH900 (Lawton mod and custom wood cups) paired with my Wii Audio amp as I really enjoy that combo for bass heavy music but my Koss...- Phishin Phool

Me too -recently got a SR3100 system. I had got an intro with the drop KOSS ESP/95x. They started me on the path with leaving my dynamic headphones behind but the 3100 is so much better than that. I am considering selling off some headphones I thought I'd never part with. The only other phones I...- Phishin Phool

Perhaps - you made my decision making tougher. Don't need the DAC as I have several so trying to decide now between this one with the upgraded pads / mod but with the transformer and extra piece or a regular Sr-3100 combo for $525 another member has up for sale.- Phishin Phool

Thanks for $200 I figured I'd gamble and if those cans aren't great I still have the srd-7 and can look for a different headphone while enjoying my ESP/95x.- Phishin Phool

The Entry Level Stax Thread
Hello all, I am awaiting my first pair of stax electrostatics. I rolled the dice and bought a used SR-X MK3 and an SRd-7. The headphones look to be in good shape and owner reports they work just fine. I figured with the srd 7 if there is a channel imbalance I can fix it on my AVA/Amp. Currently...- Phishin Phool

Question about Stax SRS-3100
I currently have a massdrop Koss ESP/95x. I got it a year or two ago. It is my first electrostatic headphone and I have taken quite a liking to it. Recently the power cord became frayed and it is out of commission atm. I was going to order another power supply but then I began to seriously...- Phishin Phool

Bowers & Wilkins PX Noise-Cancelling Over-ears
I had really enjoyed my wireless PX but they are currently MIA. I was going to get the px7 but based upon recommendation form other head-fiers I went with the plain p7 and am amazed at how much better the sound is than the px. I only ever used noise cancelling for mowing the lawn (didn't like...- Phishin Phool
