ZMF Atrium Open has impedance at 300 ohms, MJ3 output impedance is at 0.25 ohm, supposedly the synergy is better when the impedances are more closely matched. Why I was asking how MJ3 runs the AO.

Keep it cool. Mine has zero transformer or choke buzz and vibration. No snap crackle pop on power down either well because it's running cool. I hesitate to say anything more about it, everyone prolly had enough of my yapping about it. LOL

Anyone using MJ3 to drive ZMF Atriums? Wondering how much the mis-match between amp output impedance (0.25 ohms) and the 300 ohm impedance of the Atriums affects the SQ? Or no worries?

I have been running my amp on low gain and push-pull, but it's kind of a toss up really and may be somewhat load dependent. Experiment and see what works best for your ears is ultimately what we all do.

Yggdrasil MiB is less tilted to the dark side, and provides better detail resolution. The synergy thing is so important. The LiM is also a great dac, but needs a substantially more neutral amp to pair with it. That is why the synergy with the GSX Mini was so good. The MiB with the MJ3 is better...
