I don't think the tuning is going to check my boxes. I canceled my cheap Indiegogo purchase because I had doubts. But hey, it may be a shocker.- subguy812

Going fully Wireless IEMs. Too soon? Or are we there yet?
My biggest reservation since the beginning was one of the first comments I read made me think they have a traditional "eastern" tuning. I am more of a Western tuning guy, it is all a matter of tastes and preferred signature.- subguy812

SONY NW-WM1Z M2 / WM1A M2
The WM1ZM2 has such a beautiful tonality. With the Empire Ears Raven, the DAP really showcases its organic richness. Listening to the Snarky Puppy(Remixed & Remastered) Metropole Orkest as I type this and it is beyond decadent.- subguy812

I understand OG; I was merely stating I have the one that doesn't say that, so it must be the 2nd version. It is still unwieldy but sounds good.- subguy812

Agreed it is a good cable, but the challenge is real regarding ergonomics. I don't have the one that says OG.- subguy812

No special cable...is there a specific IEM you want to use in the gym? If you want to PM so the thread isn't bogged with specifics please feel free?- subguy812

Behind my head, in the back of my shirt at the gym. The other thing you can do is buy that case that has a clip on it.- subguy812

I have only three, Svanar, EX, and 4 NC, and I am good with that. The 4 NC was the deal of the century for 75.00. I don't use my Go Blu a lot; if I need a bit more power on the go or traveling, I do. It has a ton of power and isn't behind my ear, which I feel would annoy the heck out of me...- subguy812

Going fully Wireless IEMs. Too soon? Or are we there yet?
Yes...I have the iFi Go Blu, a different type of design but similar in premise; that is why it is proof that all of this is subjective and according to one's taste and usage. Obviously, I have quite a few TOTL IEMs, DAPS, and Headphones, but when I am listening to TWS, sound quality is so...- subguy812

Empire Ears - Discussion & Impressions (Formerly EarWerkz)
The R8II is one I haven't heard. I have a R6III(love it, great travel companion) and it isn't my first Hiby player. The baked-in plugins are badass. I would love to hear the R8II. I have had it in the cart a couple of times.- subguy812

Empire Ears - Discussion & Impressions (Formerly EarWerkz)
I am a late golden brick adopter, no doubt. This is the M2, not sure it matters. I am digging the DAPs overall warmth and richness. I have only begun to try the M2 with my collection of IEMs and have a feeling it will be an excellent pairing with the HE1000 Stealth as well, when I work my way to...- subguy812
