Klipsch image one on-ear mini-review
I went from being ready to order these from Apple Canada to not wanting them after reading all the posts. How do these compare to the S4? Better / worse? Similar?- JJBug

++ FULL-SIZE HEADPHONE RECOMMENDATIONS THREAD++ CLOSED: Please post a thread in the Introductions, Help and Advice forum
Im looking for basically a portable on / over ear version of the Sennheiser HD448 with the same or a similar sound signature - overall sound quality must be same or better. The HD448 is just too big to go outside with for me. I hate the style / look of the 2x8 series. Any brand is ok. Thanks- JJBug

Meelec M6 -- Awful (Update: Not So Awful)
I had the complete opposite experience. I gave my M9s to my brother as the M6s work better for me - they sound fuller with less but better bass. The M9s had bass but the sound shifted to the left or right depending on the fit (as Joker noted they are very fit dependent) and they sounded tinny to...- JJBug

Upgrade from soundmagic PL30
I have both - the PL50 has more detail but less bass. Try the M2 - good bass, good detail, and good soundstage.- JJBug

WARNING: Fake IE8s! Comparison pictures included!!
Don't worry Danz03 - www.ownta.com has fake Shure as well as Sennheiser from $9 up. (click electronics - hearphones). How is Sennheiser not finding this and shutting it down? At least some of these ebay and Amazon fakes must be coming from places like this. Everything is being ripped off.- JJBug

Sorry for this one again, but Soundmagic pl30 or m9?
I have both. The M9 is over rated IMHO and I prefer the PL30s. The PL30 respond well to Eqing bass into them and I can get them thumping with my Creative Zen Touch. There is no hope for my M9s. They just are not as good as the other IEMs I own (Klipsch S4/PL50/PL30/Hippo VB/CX300II or my M6...- JJBug

And......my Grado SR80i's are ruined :(
This is why I hated working customer service - people like you. After all your anger Amazon agreed to send a new pair - usually they will try to fix the product instead - and I bet you are still not happy. Sell the new Grados and move on dude. Actually, after re-reading your tripe, it...- JJBug

PL-50 Tips
I took the largest size Sony Hybrid tips, cut the black tip off so I have the white left that slides onto the IEM from underneath. I put these onto my PL-50s and can then slide my favourite UE tips on top of those securely.- JJBug

PL-50 Tips
I am confused about PL-50 tips. After searching here some posts say use the PL-30 or Sony tips, some say they do not fit. Did they change the size of the PL-50s? I just got mine and need to know what will fit as all the included tips do not work for me at all. Thanks- JJBug

Sennheiser IE6 Snow Weather Damage at -33 C
I don't have a definitive answer but I purchased M9s and JVC 67s for the cold weather (-5C and colder) as I am not taking any chances with my good IEMs in those temperatures with or without snow. Better safe than sorry I think. If snow does get into them it will melt and water inside your IE6s...- JJBug

Klipsch Image S4 Vs Soundmagic PL-50
The S4 and PL50 are very different. I have both and sometimes I listen to one, some weeks the other. My S4s did get much better with some hours on them. My PL50s were good out of the box - but very different sounding. Hard to compare as they are so very different. Do what I did and get both...- JJBug

The new Sennheiser...HD428 Review
Just bought these last night. So far I really like them. I find that as my MS1s are open I don't use them very often at home so I bought these as a closed alternative. The sound signature is of course different but I really like them. I find them less in your face and more enjoyable than the...- JJBug

Rank the Headphones that You Own.
1. MS1 2. Apex 35 (Equation Audio EP3070 shell - drivers may be the same or not - I don't know) 3. AKG 77 4. Coby CV215 5. aRoc wireless IEM 1. Klipsch S4 2. PL50 3. JVC FX66 My MS1s are the best but I use the Apex the most as they are closed. I also like the wireless...- JJBug

MDR-EX35LP-a short review by A.A. Fussy
I just picked these up - and after spending $ on cheap garbage (rocketfish cheap jvcs etc) and big $ on high end stuff its nice to get a decent set of winter buds for $15 (1/2 price at Zellers Canada right now). I think they sound like my cx300IIs but brighter and with less bass and with a...- JJBug

Move over AD700 and other mid-fi headphones, Onn is in town!!!... Who??? (Canadian's REJOICE!)
Just went and picked some up tonight - very impressed for $39 wow - a keeper. Will probably buy a backup pair as I may ruin them when I attempt a re-cabling. A recabling guide would be awesome if you are still making one. They come with a VERY long shoelace type of cable.- JJBug

Are Grado's really that uncomfortable?
I don't find mine uncomfortable but I wouldn't call them comfortable either. At least they don't make my ears too hot like my Shures. I find any headphone I've owned uncomfortable in some way after a couple of hours (aside from IEMs).- JJBug
