Apple in ear (dual driver) iem, is it good?
They have an okay fit. I used to use the included small rubber tips and the fit was perfect. But sadly I lost those tips and used the medium tips for a while. They were a bit tricky. I found you had to stick them in your ear, then pull them slightly out to get a perfect fit. Now, I use Shure E2C...- dap_pad

Yea that's true. But it works and doesn't seem to harm the case or the plug so i'm content. Although if i find an extension it would probably be better.- dap_pad

The UM3X fits in my Incase Slider for the 3GS...just barely though... I do wish it was just 2 mm smaller in diameter though >.<- dap_pad

Um... I'm not sure if I really had the vibration issue (although I just sent my pair in), when no music was playing. If you touched the wire near the left driver unit or the left driver unit itself, you would hear a slight "ringing" noise, much like a rubber band being plucked.- dap_pad

Medium olives are too big for my ears, but after a while, they aren't as big and are perfect for my ears. I personally use small olives though, since they fit my ears perfectly right from the start.- dap_pad

Congrats! I know I don't regret my purchase Though getting a good fit is imperative to maximize the enjoyment factor. Make sure you've tried them with all tips and sources first Because initially they didn't sound so hot with complys and my Sansa Clip... but you'll quickly grow to love them if...- dap_pad

Mingo WM-2 - Any other owners?
Well actually their produced by a Hong Kong company called Mingo HMW. I used to go there when I visited Hong Kong. Their stores are like heaven with walls of headphones for you to try out 亦軒耳機俱樂部 & 亦軒耳機便利店 - From what I've read the WM-2 aren't too bad- dap_pad

Wow... ok that took a while, but I've finally finished all 106 pages of the UM3X appreciation thread. And mine are their way!! Can't wait to get them. Anyone using them with a Sansa Clip, Cowon A2 or iPod Touch 1G? How does it sound? I listen mostly to pop, indie, instrumental songs. Will the...- dap_pad

New IEMs...
Nope... stuff over $60 CAD get taxed Yea... I've been debating over the FS forums or US online retailers (warranty vs. price). I just wish there was a Canadian retailer that carried the Westones or even the Sennheisers!- dap_pad

New IEMs...
Yea... I think I want to try some more "neutral" phones. I owned the ER4PS and actually quite liked them so I think the UM3X can't be that bad considering they're pretty much the SE530 "improved". Plus, I'm kinda wary of the "intense" sound from the W3 and sibilance issues. The IE8 has fit...- dap_pad

Ah... it seems as if the IE8s are looking to be the winner. Has anyone used them with the Sansa Clip? That would probably be my main source. Oh and do they sit flush with your ears? Since I'll probably be using these IEMs in bed as well. Thanks for the help guys! Really appreciate it!- dap_pad

Ok... a while back I decided to abandon all my IEMs (Atrio M5s, Etymotic ER4Ps, etc) and go into the world of full sized cans. But things have changed, and now I again require good IEMs! I haven't frequented the forums recently and am a bit out of touch on the IEM market. I basically left during...- dap_pad

A successor to my Clix2
The Spinn is good too, but overly expensive for what it is IMO. The sound quality is supposed to be pretty average with a bit of digital noise. Although the design is beautiful! But like the S9, it's going to be somewhat bigger than the Clix2. On the plus side though, it does have customizable...- dap_pad

A successor to my Clix2
If your willing to delve into touchscreens, the Cowon S9 is an excellent DAP for your requirements. I think it will fulfill all your needs. It shares alot of its technology with the Clix2 (AMOLED, Custom UCIs, Flash support) plus it support Ogg Vorbis I'd definetely check it out if your willing...- dap_pad

Sony S638 vs Iriver Clix 2 vs Samsung YP-P2
Quite true, the P2 is more video oriented and the iRiver and Sony being music centered. Each have their strong points and it really depends on what your needs are.- dap_pad
