I do have a EH 6CG7 not gold pins that is decent, $20 or so works in Val3 well and Vali 2+ doesnt have the internal shield, like that really matters? Alex

Its just a small box with a switch in the front. Its marked :Front Switch. So all those rear switch haters can use this in their therapy sessions.... flick, flick, flick!!! Big Smile here....yeah I know lousy humor! LOL Alex

RCA 6CG7... Has the shield between sides. No clear top like the Raytheon so no pretty glow. But sonically its right yup there, miniature 6SN7GT type... Wonderful tube. Alex Note: Its about as good as it gets at this level. Vali 3 is a gem. Classic!
