Review by 'nikbr' on item 'Tronsmart Mirtune C2'
Tronsmart Mirtune C2 Article This is my first time writing about a portable BT speaker, but it is by no means the first BT speaker experience I have had, so I will draw from my previously acquired knowledge to say a thing or two about this joyous looking thing. Let us start with the price just...- nikbr

I'm not jealous at all ... What a gorgeous thing 🥵 I'll wait for some more of your thoughts and start saving up. I need these. These look so elegant & upmarket and after my newfound love for TINHiFi's T5S which is basically their flagship DD I'm certainly reaching out to see if we can make...- nikbr

The difference these can make is well worth the $35. Enjoy the infinite tip-rolling! Yes, T5S is love. My review should be landing next week and I'm struggling to find drawbacks. Ooh Explorer looks like an interesting midcentric set, but I'm slightly afraid of that prominent 8kHz in comparison...- nikbr

Coreir is magic and thus worth the money for the idea itself alone. I have just swapped the S&S for the Coreir on my T5S and improvements are nothing short of astounding. Coreir's magic is rooted in simple physics. It does not obstruct the sound path and cleans up first reflections to...- nikbr

The Watercooler -- Impressions, philosophical discussion and general banter. Index on first page. All welcome.
Admitting mistakes and fixing them is quite plausibly one of Life's Toughest Tasks. After two weeks of my Project #2 being live I had faced just that. I was not particularly happy with how it turned out as a whole. Thus, I have started reconsidering it and forming a picture in my mind about how...- nikbr

Beautiful artistry indeed. It all starts with the packaging, our minds work that way. Kinera/Celest always get that one right. Design is a weird sort of beast. Some prefer it simple, some need obvious overstyling. It's a bit like Tesla vs Lamborghini. I sit somewhere in the middle. Congrats...- nikbr

Thread drama is the worst sort of drama. It makes me worried about someone someday just turning the lights off and shutting the door on what is one of my favourite pastimes lately.- nikbr

Hm, it has to be a no from me. It's got a beautifully done bass with all the pace ever. But is it sufficient in quantity? Not really. And the treble is more present so getting to that bass thumping sensation brings along deafening levels of treble.- nikbr

Nope, no Flex or Liqueurs. I really don't feel like I need any more tips currently, since a combination of one of the pictured tips (+10 different tips I've got laying elsewhere) and a cable can achieve just about any flavour.- nikbr

I have also just set up this First Aid Kit as I like to call it for when that highly vicious Tip Roll Bug comes around. In the left corner, give a huuuuge round of applause to the following contenders: KBear 07, Tang Sancai, Canalworks, Final type E, Symbio, and W1!! In the right corner, a...- nikbr

Did a quick AB with this song that someone suggested not long ago with all my 'cheapies' (≤100€). Top to bottom row, from left to right: EA500 LM - a bit thick in bass, sibilant now and again, too sterile and cold, distant vocal placement, CVJ Mei - thin, unrefined, lacking bass...- nikbr

I never realized before the RW2000 just how technically capable earbuds can be too! All the detail I could ever ask for while swimming in what seems like a never-ending soundstage with no barriers either way. They like power, though. Not the most enjoyable out of my BTR7, whereas VE Stack clears...- nikbr

Tasty! I must admit I am not a major fan of the Monk SPC and Zen LL anymore after getting the Yincrow RW2000 which does everything about 3 times better than either of those. That does not mean I'm not willing to try another (more expensive too) VE earbud offering. AB is still the best we can...- nikbr

What a tune! Not for the electric-guitar-and-drums-allergic ones. T5S does a good job tonally, while obviously not offering the last word in resolution, but that is largely down to the less than perfect Penon Tail dongle too - possibly my worst purchase ever, but still gets some use now and...- nikbr
