    I would advice you to buy - if possible - a used CMA18P! That being said, the Calyx K sounds better than the MUB1 but it doesn’t play all the tricks. Two very different devices. As said, watch out for a used CMA18P 🤞

    It’s just a DAC with amp. I connect it with my iPhone via USB-C cable and Qobuz high-res stream.

    It’s the Luxury & Precision WP2. Very expensive but worse sounding than the ddHifi TC09S, that is a great upgrade USB cable, which I also own (and which costs way less).

    It’s strange, I do not have warm ears at all when it’s hot outside (or in the room). Maybe I am used to closed backs where the heat issue has another benchmark? Still very happy with the Composer!

    Great review! 👍 Concerning input and outputs: I am happy they are on the same side. Otherwise it would not be portable. I wouldn’t be able to put it in my pocket together with my iPhone.
