I have the Mojo. It is noticeably larger and doesn't sound as good as the DC-Elite. And power the Elite with a small power bank using a Y cable and it will compare to many upper sound quality portables, easily. I have heard no other dongle that can compare to it.- jamato8

LTA VELO - Headphone Amp / Preamp
The Velo is sounding great with some Philips box plate and Japanese grey plate 12SN7 (Old RadioShack NOS). Great timbre and vast soundstage with the Sony R-10. Very natural dynamics excellent detail.- jamato8

iBasso DX180 Got your music? Enjoy the concert! Released and ready to play. Manual download on the 1st page.
This is from the ibasso FB page: I have been asked about the formats a few times so here it is briefly: Our DX260, DX180, and DX170 all support aptX-HD and LDAC when working as a BT transmitter. When working as a USB DAC, it is AAC and SBC.- jamato8

LTA VELO - Headphone Amp / Preamp
I have both the LPS and the stock power supply. The LPS is a little fuller sounding with a wonderful bass line. The stock power supply does a great job as well. You need to put around 150 hours on the amp. With either PS it is dead quiet and very transparent. You want to make sure you have a...- jamato8

IBasso DC-Elite . . . The no compromise DAC/AMP with a true Stepped Attenuator
I use the iPhone with no issue. I have the 13PRo. The iPhone can limit current and if that is the case, like using a heavier demand IEM or headphones, you can use a Y cable and a small power bank for the DC Elite. Sound is excellent.- jamato8

iBasso DX180 Got your music? Enjoy the concert! Released and ready to play. Manual download on the 1st page.
The USB C won't burn in the dap, well it will work for the dac chips but not the amp section. Or you can just use your IEMs or Headphones. I use both methods. One thing drivers do, is they vary on resistance but the burn in cable is handy for the times a new device isn't being listened to. In...- jamato8

Really? Normal resolution is something like CD quality 44/16. Burn in has been used for years. I do it on Sony, AK, iBasso, LTA, Cayin and others. Or just listen to the music. You are making it much more complicated than it actually is. The burn in cable is just a cable with some resistors...- jamato8

iBasso DX180 Got your music? Enjoy the concert! Released and ready to play. Manual download on the 1st page.
I had the card stay in place on my DX180 with the 1st insertion. I couldn't get it to move. I took the back of the DX off, so easy to do now, and looked at the SD card slot. I could see the springs the hold the card in place. I used a tiny screw driver to gently work them, used the screw driver...- jamato8

DX180 by iBasso. Enjoy the view to your music. Green, Black and Light Blue.
To me, the DX180 is more musical and better impact/dynamics. Build quality? That is a joke. The SR35 is no better built and the DX180 is easy to change the battery on, when and if needed. SR35 costs more and you don't get more, IMO.- jamato8

LTA VELO - Headphone Amp / Preamp
The LTA amps are easy on tubes. The Velo would be easy on tubes and unless the tube is wonky to begin with, it should last a very long time. It is better to have a tube on if you are going to use it over a 12 hour period than off and on, which is harder on a tube and will shorten its life.- jamato8

LTA VELO - Headphone Amp / Preamp
The 12SN7 is a quieter tube due to the heater being 12.6 volts so you are further from ground. I used to always raise the ground to around 50 volts. A tube then is very quiet. The tube sees the correct heater voltage but a resistor to ground makes it electrically appear much higher.- jamato8

Jade II Discussion
I heard the amp years ago, pre production but told Fang that the amp needed to be improved and needed more volume. There were about 8 all running to make sure the headphones and amps did well. The headphones are very good and a very good buy. The amp is still the same amp, sadly. But at least...- jamato8
