Outstanding sound quality at an incredible price

Pros: Sound quality, bass response, smooth mids, separation, easy to drive, low price, portability

Cons: Limited availability, construction, comfort, lacking treble detail

Overview The SHL3300 offers excellent sound quality for a very low price. Not only does it punch well above its weight class, but it also scores some knockouts against some serious headphones. The stunning sound quality is backed up with solid construction (albeit plastic) and great portability. In the context of its relatively low price tag, the only thing lacking is its crappy packaging. Clearly Philips spent the whole budget on designing a brilliantly functional headphone with great acoustics, because there is little literature or marketing about these to be found.     Listening Preferences   Casual at home, in public Breakdown of what I listen to:   60%...

Pros: Deep Bass, Balance Mid, Clear treble

Cons: No carrying case

This headphone really amazes me....   I own Bower Wilkins P3 and Beyer Dynamix DTX 501 and tried V-Jays, Sennheiser X100 and Audio Technica ATH S500 (last 4 models i believe could fall at the same price range).    With my iPod 4th gen + Hippo Cricri, this Philips SHL 3300 sounds so amazing.... deep bass, comfortable mid and clear treble...  It's true that V-Jays, Sennh X-100 and Beyer DTX 501 have different structural design and purpose but definitely I can say that SHL 3300 really satisfying a lot higher that its price.... Highly Recommended.... You will not be dissapointed. The sound quality is far above its price...   The cons is only there is no...
