I was hoping its somehow dampened enough to not be that noisy, any chance you had experience with Abyss headphones? Those have some sort of aluminium foam damping. I'm annoying my girlfriend with LCDs but closed versions have freq response that looks like crap and Im looking for something more...

Hi guys, there is just one thing about my LCD2C that is lacking for me. I feel that imaging is weak, even from modded Fostex t50rp I was able to squeeze serious pinpoint imaging so it feels kind of disappointing. Can it be related to amping? Im using SPL Crimson for my needs not any dedicated...

Unfortunatelly no one replied so far but looks like more people are acquiring them so maybe someone will be willing to open cups. Its basically 4 screws to open it, nothing complicated. I think its notch filter or something like that to reduce back reflection null or bump in frequencies
