Clip+ repair of jack and volume control and replacing battery
Welp, the audio jack on my Clip+ got loose and I can't get a new one where I live. While opening it up I broke one of the battery cords but I managed to fix it. Then I fixed the jack but broke the power button in the process So I guess I'll have to buy Sports or Jam now, everything else I...- Zax19

Sansa Clip+ died... What to get now?
Yeah, I'd go with a Clip+ again no question, if I could actually find in where I live. From Amazon it would be 70 USD plus shipping and probably some taxes, so I'll probably end up just buying a Clip sport :/- Zax19

Sansa Clip+ died... What to get now?
Sorry for a necro but I have the same problem now - the jack on my Clip+ finally gave up (the sound is cutting out, the headphones are fine, I tested it). Where I live I can't find Clip+ in the shops anymore, the "updated" versions Clip Sport and Clip Jam aren't supported by Rockbox anymore (the...- Zax19

USB wall charger killed my Fuze - no refund
Ok, so not long after my mp3 player broke while charging my dad's new one broke too. We've sent it to the store but they denied it, the charger is supposedly ok. So no matter which charger I'll buy next they'll never be responsible for any damage it causes? Now that's just great . (I...- Zax19

USB wall charger killed my Fuze - no refund
It seems that my dad's mp3 player broke before we had the charger. Do batteries heat up before they broke? I'm just trying to figure out if it was just a coincidence or if I should return the charger and demand refund for the Fuze ... Thanks.- Zax19

USB wall charger killed my Fuze - no refund
Hi, last night I was in a hurry so I used the USB wall charger we have at home instead of my laptop and after an hour my Sansa Fuze was heated up and wouldn’t start. The charger wasn’t the cheapest they had (~12USD), the brand is “HQ”, I bought as a gift 6 months ago and it’s supposed to...- Zax19

++ FULL-SIZE HEADPHONE RECOMMENDATIONS THREAD++ CLOSED: Please post a thread in the Introductions, Help and Advice forum
Quote: HD 25 are small, high preassure HPs, I can hardly wear them for 4 hours without any pain. I'm looking for something bigger than my ears (even on the inner side (at least 8x5cm) so that I can wear them at home without any pain. When I said similar headphones I meant in the same...- Zax19

++ FULL-SIZE HEADPHONE RECOMMENDATIONS THREAD++ CLOSED: Please post a thread in the Introductions, Help and Advice forum
Hello, I'm looking for closed, comfortable, home-use (longer cable) headphones. As I have HD 25-1 for commuting and such I pretty much know I would not appreciate expensive headphones SQ-wise. I'd be OK with HD 438 but they might be too small for me. My ears are ca 7x4 cm and I want...- Zax19

help in selecting a pair of headphones for pc and radio studio use
Hi, I'm also looking for something similar, I got my hands on DT231, sound-wise I'd say DT235 would be fine, but I'm pretty sure they are on-ear for most people rather than over-ear, and the headband is kind of strange. I'm looking at HD438 and I'm afraid they might be too small for my...- Zax19

Review by 'Zax19' on item 'Sennheiser HD 25-1 II Professional Headphone'
Hi, just a quick mash-up of what I wrote somewhere about HD 25. *Clamping, isolation - When I'm commuting for almost 4 hours it can be quite annoying. On the other hand I was angry that my ATH-SJ5 has weaker clamping force after a year, thus less isolation, it would easily fall off, so I...- Zax19

Sennheiser HD25-1 II weaknesses
I don't know why, but my last reply in this topic is missing and I'm lazy to write all of it again, so just a quick update: *Clamping - When I'm commuting for amost 4 hours, it can be quite annoying, but I was angry that my ATH-SJ5 has weaker clamping force after a year, thus less isolation...- Zax19

hd25-1 impressions thread
Hi, I also have problems deciding what to do with the cable. I really don't want to spend more money on this, but I just can't stand the horrible steel cable, because I've never had such a microphonic cable. I have a few cheap headphones lying around, but this is just insane. If I walk, the...- Zax19

Sennheiser HD25-1 II weaknesses
I have to bump this, because after about 50 hours of burn-in I'm quite dissatisfied with the HD 25. I have to say there isn't any dramatical improvement over ATH-SJ5, I expected larger amount of bass and also that certain songs would now sound more engaging. Sure, there is more detail, but...- Zax19
