Schiit Happened: The Story of the World's Most Improbable Start-Up
Having grown up in the Nashville area and my parents being big C&W fans, we went to quite a few tapings of Hee Haw and the Grand Ole Opry in the 80's and early 90's.- yonson

Schiit Happened: The Story of the World's Most Improbable Start-Up
Having lived the majority of my life in TN, AL, MS, as well as NC,TX, and FL (but I had no pool there). In the middle of summer the water in the pools would be 90+ degrees and felt like bath water, it was not enjoyable.- yonson

Wow, I don't know if I could get rid of my XMC-1 like that! Maybe once there is an Ultimate Syn (with XLR) for us that run 3 mono Vidar on their LCR...- yonson

I learned AutoCAD R10 in school many many moons ago. I ended up buying the student version of R11 and used that for a LONG time.- yonson

Schiit Happened: The Story of the World's Most Improbable Start-Up
Hehe, I have a few friends that are really deep into Bourbons, so I get to try all the good expensive ones. We've toured the distilleries in KY, done the taste samplings etc... I'd still rather just have a good ole Guinness.- yonson

Hehe, sometimes you have to get their friends involved. Peer pressure (the good kind) made me try a number of different foods I wouldn't have tried otherwise when I was growing up. I've worked with "kids" (at least to me, twenty somethings that only ate basic "kid" food) that would never eat...- yonson

Yup, I still have an open mind about them and will try new ones that I haven't had before in the hopes I find something that I like, but short of a couple flavoured whiskeys (which I don't really consider whiskey, because it's cheating) I haven't found any that I'd try more than the once or...- yonson

Schiit Happened: The Story of the World's Most Improbable Start-Up
Yeah, I've tried a LOT. I've had numerous different types of Scotch as well as Bourbons, Whisk(e)y's etc... over the years, and I don't really like any of them. :o From expensive stuff like 21 year McCallan and Pappy Van Winkle etc... to not so expensive stuff, I just never have acquired a...- yonson

Hehe, I wish that was the case with wine and beer! Those, I have acquired a taste for and really enjoy. But I rarely drink it so it doesn't really cost me anything. I bought a case of wine about 8 years ago and I've still got a few bottles left even after giving some away and drinking a few...- yonson

I've had good cigars and great scotch and IMO they are just as bad as the bad ones hehe. I've never really been able to acquire the taste for them, which I guess is a good thing because it has kept me from spending $$$ on them.- yonson

It has been many years since I've had an Apple product (coincidentally right around 15 years), I really liked their hardware and the simplicity of their ecosystem, but I did not like being tied to iTunes to handle all of my media. On the PC side, I recently built a new HTPC because I wanted...- yonson
