[REVIEW] Aurisonics ASG-2 & 2.5 (with many comparisons)
I don't wish to add any "oil to the heated flames" here, but would liked to raise a point here. Are the playing equipment and software used being taken into consideration for individual reviews? Am currently trying out different players and software, and am surprised that some differences...- yellobie

[REVIEW] Aurisonics ASG-2 & 2.5 (with many comparisons)
Quote: After listening to just the GR07 for the past few days, I'm glad that I still like it as it is. GR07 gives a more relaxed feeling, and works well with songs that are slower in tempo. Something that I can confirm thou, is GR07 MKII actually has more sub-bass (rumble) than my...- yellobie

[REVIEW] Aurisonics ASG-2 & 2.5 (with many comparisons)
Quote: Unity, you wish to sleep with the ASG in your ears? That might be quite uncomfortable I feel. The ASG is quite thick as compared to the GR07. Just did a rough measurement with a ruler, assuming single flange tips used. GR07 MKII thickness: about 10-11mm excluding the tip...- yellobie

[REVIEW] Aurisonics ASG-2 & 2.5 (with many comparisons)
Just liked to add a comment regarding Ortofon tips. I tried the tips I got from Japan on the ASG 2, but for some songs, the sound distorted at some point for me. Initially I thought it's either the player or the drivers having problem, but changing the player doesn't help. I then change back to...- yellobie

[REVIEW] Aurisonics ASG-2 & 2.5 (with many comparisons)
Quote: Thanks for the kind words eke! Sadly my new pair of ASG 2 will only reach me in about 2 weeks time, so in the meantime I'm listening to my ASG 1.3. Frankly I had not listen to GR07 over a longer period of time ever since I got the Aurisonics. Always use it out to listen to...- yellobie

[REVIEW] Aurisonics ASG-2 & 2.5 (with many comparisons)
Hi everyone! I am a long time lurker in head fi, but still a newbie in terms of technical terms and critical listening. Always prefer to enjoy my favourite songs and music "just like that", thus am not sure if I will ever jump into critical listening. I do not have much IEMs to compare to, but...- yellobie
