I remember the Denon D5000 were also easy to drive. Worked like a charm with a phone as well. Of course, not as punchy, but not too shabby either.- xrayman

Daft Punk, DJ Shadow work great with the Elear. Actually the last Daft Punk is so well produced, very enjoyable with the Elear.- xrayman

Glad your second pair suits you. Mine have been flawless thus far. No issue with the headphone band either (as some have apparently encountered). I do not really understand the mid issue that some people are referring to. The vocals* are so well emphasized with those headphones...- xrayman

That does not surprise me at all. Beyer are generally bright and can be quite irritating. The Elear are simply overall better cans. Best bang for the bucks- xrayman

Never had that issue. I have had them for more than 2 or 3 weeks now. They sound superb and they become even better as time goes. A pleasure really.- xrayman

I just checked on Amazon (US though), and they are 1960 USD at the moment. Good looking headphones. I like the black look! Personally, I am perfectly content with the Elear, they are what I needed. Effective and dynamic. But the take-home message is that they will always be a better...- xrayman
