That's great. I have the Bose QC Ultra Earbuds which have aptX adaptive but I believe the player has to also have adaptive for it to work. It is backwards compitible but only from the player end, ie my earbuds won't work with a standard aptX player unfortunately. I'll give this a go.

Thank you for your quick reply. The SQ may well be personal preference, thankyou for clarifying things for me. I must say I do like the bookmarking feature on Rockbox.. No other DAP has that, really handy for audiobooks. I'll hold onto it a little longer.

Not obsolete, just the firmware is now considered "finished".  It is currently being looked at for porting for Rockbox, but could be years before that is sorted, if ever, Rockbox has a bookmarking system.

I'd like to see some custom theme for this update too as the welcome message "Born for Music and Happy" makes no sense :P

I will give this new firmware a go today. It is a bit disappointing that it will be the last update as I was really hanging out for a bookmarking feature, maybe that is beyond your capabilities to achieve on this unit. Many thanks for all your work.

Try reinstalling the firmware, I had this problem once but not recently.
