I think i appreciate the fact that the Alita is such a fantastic all rounder. I’ve been listening to jazz, EDM, metal, pop, hip-hop on it and it has the technical chops to make every genre sound great.- Wil

Indeed! I recently got the Alita and i cannot stop listening to it. To me at least it has excellent bass slam too, despite not having any switches. It hits really hard and fast. Definitely not DD level slam but very, very satisfying for all BA bass.- Wil

I reckon Alita should be discussed more, i find that it sounds like a more refined NP, with a much wider soundstage ( better spatial cues ). NP is great for metal but the Alita is a great all rounder imo.- Wil

I guess i have to preface it by mentioning that i prefer a brighter sound signature, so this is right up my alley. I can see why someone that is more sensitive to treble might find these fatiguing tbh. But gosh that bass is seriously freakin’ amazing. The bass hits with both quantity and...- Wil

Got mine! i’ve got to say I’m very impressed at first listen. the sub bass slam on these things are very good ( not for the price good, just GOOD ). i hate the stiff cable with the near useless cinch though ( it is literally just a metal ring that needs to be pulled almost all the way up to...- Wil

Seri it's adequate but more power won't hurt. The quattros sounded even more vivid after i swapped the RU7 for the Topping G5. They do suck up all the power you can throw at them.- Wil

Seems like it would work well with a 1 bit dac or R2R dac/amp- Wil

The P8s are underrated too imho. such a clean sounding set that doesn't really get much attention around here.- Wil

Current rotation includes the Monarch Mk 3, Penon Quattro and Aur Audio Neon Pro. I occasionally bust out the Sony IER-Z1R when i feel like listening to some EDM. Thinking of getting a full DD set....perhaps the EA1000 or Timsok? ( The Timsok is pretty pricey though ).- Wil
