You talk highly of the Genalex 6922's! Maybe I should give it a go when I have enough funds for it. I was thinking about changing my input tubes into 6922's. Thanks fo the heads up. Any other tubes that people might recommend?

You won't be disappointed! I am also using the Tung Sol 5Y3GT. I still can't figure out which one I like the most. The 5Y3G by Sylvania has las impact (base wise) and is to me, a little more transparent because of that. Though the Tung Sol is great for music which has nice bass lines.  ...

Is it possible to use the volume knob on this DAC to fine-tune the overall (master)volume when used in combination with a headphone amp?

I had to wait 6 or 7 weeks but you won't be dissapointed. Just received a NOS Sylvania 5Y3WGTA and put it in for a quick listen. Still waiting for my Mullard CV2492's though... Think I will be even more satisfied when those arrive! :)

If you go for the 600 Ohm versions you might need an amp that can drive them as well. I am not a believer of the whole 5.1 CMSS3D type of things. To be honest, a 2 channel stereo headphone is all you need. I have experimented with the above listed technologies but I never found them pleasent or...

Are you going to use this headphone for gaming only? If not, or if listening to music has a higher priority this headphone might not be for you. With that having said, there are better headphones out there for gaming.   I personally like Beyer's for gaming and listening to music as well.  ...

I have owned this headphone in the past. Doesn't it include the USB soundcard?

Maybe you should look it up in the manual or you might ask the guys over at Little Dot. They are pretty responsive. With that having said, just see and try for yourself! Low or Medium should do it but I think it's about personal preference. Let your ears decide!
