Interesting sound... if you have a cheap pair somewhere try it, sure bass is impacted negatively below 150hz but almost everything else is yesssss, also nice to be able to hear whats going on, whats really going on around me

I can hear !! Good tone (seriously it has some bass !! ?? ) and the highs / kids are acceptable (and eq able) and its really nice to not have ANYTHING on or in my ears.I kinda laughed when I saw the 'ports' but I also kinda jumped the first time the bass dropped and it was around my neck :D

You're right ! A subwoofer *in a room / car, can experience volume gain (and sometimes loss) at certain frequencies, that is why designers typically design the subwoofer to 'roll off' -6DB @ @28hz because 27 26 and 25 hz can do all kinds of strange things to eardrums, china ware and the drivers...

Whelp I received a used pair of ANHs today and have spent about 5 hours with them using various hardware including a $15 bluetooth dongle, macbook pro, fiio x3 and I have an old Ibasso cobra .... I have been a fan of audio for over 40 years ... I cant seem to take these HPs off ? superbly...

im not sure full size HPs do sound better? there is something about the proximity of the iems driver to the ear drum that holds serious potential if you ask me.
