Alright so I'm thinking of ordering the Fiio E7 right now, since it's a DAC and headphone amp. Is there a better alternative?

Oh wow! I just ordered them yesterday from bhp with free shipping, and got them today. I can't believe that. Welp, I am going to test them out.

Bump. Not really sure what would be best for me. Also, I did just order the HFI 580's, so they should be coming soon.

Alright thanks everyone, I just ordered the 580's. It says I should be getting them on Friday, so I'll report back if you'd like with what I think of them after a little while.   Now I just need to figure out what portable amp I want to buy.

Gah, there are so many choices. I am definitely leaning towards the 580's but I am still not sure.   Let's just put it this way, I want a closed pair that have a tight and noticeable bass. I definitely want to know it is there and I want to be able to feel it, but I don't want it too...

Nevermind, I found out the E10 is not a portable amp.   So is that a better choice than the E9 and E7 combo? The E10 And just get a different portable one, or should I just go for something completely different?
