Keces P8 Linear Power Supply
Arther, or anyone else, if your P8 is running at 115VAC, could you tell me if the underside switch is pushed toward the left side of the chassis, or toward the middle of the chassis? Thanks.- tony22

Hey, thanks! No wonder I couldn't find a picture of it. That would help me make sure I get the orientation correct.- tony22

Keces P8 Linear Power Supply
I hate to bump an older thread, but I just got a used dual output P8. When I took it out of the box I heard some rattling. Took the top cover off and saw that inside was a small red - what looks like - 115/230V selector had broken loose. The problem is I can't tell where it goes. I'm pretty good...- tony22

Advice needed for getting the best out of a Burson Soloist
I haven't run across too many threads for this amp. Apparently there was one that I keep seeing links for in other threads, but whenever I click on those links it leads me to a page saying I don't have permission to view that thread. Not sure why. Anyway, I just picked up a nicely used...- tony22

2.0 Speakers Compilation: Best for <$500
From what I remember the Swans IIIs are still pretty okay, but for that kind of money you might want to consider the Emotiva Airmotiv 5S. I have the 4S and IMO it is much better than my old Swans MK200MKII.- tony22

Orthodynamic Roundup
Hi everybody. I scanned through some (but not all 1590 pages!) of this thread, and even used the special search link in the first post, but I'm still having difficulty finding the key posts that explain just exactly how to disassemble, mod, and reassemble my YH-1 headphones for the modifications...- tony22

Multiple cans, decent "for the money" amp needed
I was afraid this would be the response. Shaffer, I'd like to hear a bit more regarding your thoughts. Is the LDIII like the LDI+ where it has an op-amp output that can be swapped? I've read where some users have (at least with the LDI+) been able to get more of what they were looking for by a...- tony22

Multiple cans, decent "for the money" amp needed
I'm finally getting back to headphone use after years of things being boxed up. When I last used my cans I had a receiver with a headphone jack. That was about 1000 years ago. Now I have no way to drive either my Yamaha YH-1 or Sennheiser HD540 Reference II, and I may someday want to try...- tony22

Thanks Shamu. I had read Blindjim's review in the past but took another look at it. I need to find a place that sells, with a return policy.- tony22
