Noise in my system.
May or may not be relevant to your situation, but it's worth considering whether the problem is external to your system: https://www.head-fi.org/threads/persistent-background-cricket-chirp-sound-time-for-a-power-conditioner.967981/- Thomasr

What Are You Listening To Right Now?
And it's too late to lose the weight you used to need to throw around... As I trawl the murky waters of my old CD collection, next up is an album from Andy Stochansky, an artist I first heard at the Hillside Music Festival many years ago... And now back to Deezer steaming for a heavy dose... -

4 Audio Sources via USB to 8 AMPs , Help needed!
Can't you do this by cascading multiple 2-into-1 USB switches? You'd need a bunch of them and the whole setup would be a bit complicated to use, but it would get the job done.- Thomasr

What Are You Listening To Right Now?
So I've had my current Head-Fi setup for 12-18 months (depending which specific piece of gear we're talking about) now, and I've listened to this album numerous times via streaming platform - both Spotify and Deezer. But ... this is the first time I'm listening to the old CD I bought sometime... -

[Interest Check] Toronto meet
Cool site. Prices are a little higher than a local community center, but on the other hand we hopefully wouldn't have to deal with a huge - and really noisy - children's birthday party in the room next door.- Thomasr

Starting to question everything I thought I believed about DACs
I don't have anything close in quality to the HEK in your signature (unless we're both willing to sprinkle a lot of magic pixie dust on my SASH Tres) but I feel like my current stable of headphones has so much diversity in sound signatures that at least one of them would have picked up an...- Thomasr

Need Help Setting Up a Multi-Amp/DAC Switching System for Headphone Testing
I'm not 100% clear on whether you're looking for a digital signal switcher (pre-DAC), analog switcher (post-DAC) or both. Amazon sells USB-C switchers, so that may solve that problem. For analog switching, multi-pole rotary barrel switches are the way I'd personally go. A 4P4T switch for...- Thomasr

What Are You Listening To Right Now?
Finally got around to giving Alex Lifeson's solo album a spin, and it's a pretty interesting creative exploration. From absolutely savage metal tracks to funk-infused rock to an impressive 2:30 wailing guitar solo that harkens back to the great works of Joe Satriani.
