AC/DC Black ice......Awesome!
It's beyond awful. A tired mess, commercial rock at its worst. Sterile, lifeless, recycled, and inane, just nothing exciting at all. Brought to you by Wal-Mart™! Quote: Originally Posted by lextek As far as changing there sound. I'm not sure why a group would want to do that...- Thelonious Monk

The Thraaaaash Metalllllllll Thread! (thrash metal)
Yeah, Demolition Hammer is just sick. Epidemic of Violence is the apex of thrash metal for me. Razor's Shotgun Justice is number two. "Brass Knuckles" is hilariously aggressive. All of the bands you listed are great, good to see another fan of Vio-Lence. Ever heard Rigor Mortis? Ripping...- Thelonious Monk

Hip-Hop and Rap Fans!
Audio-Fi, I think you're a little confused. Hip-hop is a culture; rap is hip-hop music; hip-hop music is rap. You see, there's no difference. They are the same thing. There is no such thing as "real rap" and "fake rap." There's just rap. And hip-hop. They're the same thing! Rap from...- Thelonious Monk

Lucid Listening?
I've started meditation for the past few months. Restful alertness + Coltrane's Complete 1961 Village Vanguard, or Graveland's Thousand Swords, or Worship's Last Tape Before Doomsday, or any Indian classical music is bliss.- Thelonious Monk

"The Eroica Effect"
Many thanks for the heads-up! The 3rd is my favorite Beethoven symphony. It's almost as good as the 9th, but not as horrendously overplayed and exploited as that masterpiece.- Thelonious Monk

SNORE. Stupid dialogue, wimpy antagonist, horrible ending, half-assed attempt at a backstory half-way through.- Thelonious Monk
