I don't that's the problem, I am using a sub from a hi-fi system without the central control (it was part of a DVD player) Is there a device I can purchase which does just that? (without costing a small fortune) Thanks- Technex

Need help with separate subwoofer and Asus Essence STX
Thanks for your help, that does look like a good option - so will the sub experience any issues with having both high and low freqs going to it? Any "smarter" options, i.e a smarter device which just filters high frequencies out (low pass filter?)? Thanks again- Technex

What is the best music player (software)?
MusicBee - I love it, after trying many players I could not get on with any of them until I found this wonderful gem. Many themes... Great sound... Customizable as you want - although I love it in the standard format. It's amazing - for me at least! WASAPI and AISO if you wish... And...- Technex

Need help with separate subwoofer and Asus Essence STX
Hi all, I need help with a separate subwoofer and my Asus Essence STX sound card. I am primary a headphone user but I do occasional like to use my speakers - which I hacked apart from a Hi-Fi system and added a car amplifier. Previously with my motherboard's sub out I have been fine...- Technex

Just thought I would post to help any others in the same place. Got the HP-A1000 pads today and they were a bit of a pain to fit but the quality appears to be much higher than the stock A900 pads which have totally fallen apart really - just from sitting down and listening to music The...- Technex

Found these in the loft the other day, I don't have anything to plug them into and I doubt they're much cop at all but they have leather pads :). It says Realistic Tandy 40, after a bit of Googling it appears they are a brand of Radio shack or equivalent.- Technex

Audio Technica A1000 ear pads vs A900Ti ear pads
Hi guys, got some HP-A1000 pads from the good guys and gals at Bluetin! Impossible to get these from Audio Technica it seems, only offering the stock A900 pads or non-oval and expensive W5000 pads. I hope they're a lot better than the A900 pads as they're over 10 times more expensive haha!- Technex

Audio Technica A1000 ear pads vs A900Ti ear pads
Quote: True, I wondered if perhaps someone might have used both or if someone from Audio Technica was around these forums. I've been looking at all the pictures I can, seem the same. But that price difference made me wonder. The A900Ti has great reviews and the pads are meant to...- Technex
