Indeed your way seems easier than mine. I've streched the ring over the outside of the cup without taking the cups off the sliders and without turning them inside out.  Thank for the advice ! 

Juste received the ZMF Lambskin pads, they're a bit hard to put on but very comfy (the foam is different than the Alpha pad) and slightly increase the soundstage.    I'm still loving my ZMFxVibro like the first day, this headphone is very enjoyable !.    Really an awesome pair of cans
