I made a post > here, in tribute to David Sanborn as I went through my collection. A very enjoyable listen and memory lane ride. I listened to that Neal Schon Electric World CD the night I posted about it and really enjoyed it. In fact, I'm listening to it again now. It's a great relaxer.

I think you might have to develop more patience and try this.... before actually modding stuff as you'll never know how it really sounds; but that's me. I mean if you have to mod a cable off the bat to get it to sound right, why buy/keep it? Anyway, I installed mine and haven't looked back...

In remembrance of David Sanborn.... I remember getting into his music early eighties. Mostly contemporary, but good stuff, nonetheless. One of my favorites tunes of his was his version or Neither One of Us. You can feel the passion coming through on that one. Anyway, I have more of his stuff...

Thanks, but I don't think the lineup is an apple thing, I think it's just the version I have as I've seen other versions where they also have Mourning Grace as track #2. Great album nonetheless :thumbsup:

That mod was for printer issues with Raspberry Pi; I see nothing pointing to sonic improvements, but hey if it works for your ears, I suppose that's all that matters. Enjoy :thumbsup:

Playing that as I see your post. One of my favorite Patricia Barber albums. And the first one I got. I got it after hearing and falling in love with Mourning Grace. Love the bass and drum work of that track. In fact, the store I heard it at was showcasing the bass of that track through a pair...

That's a lot of speculation for something you've not heard. Anyway, my understanding is in order to get the best of out of the Mentor, you'd need a pair. That makes the asking price $2,600 where the Aune S17 comes in at $700. But that's just price and speaks nothing of which sounds better. I...

I've got one Neal Schon CD, and it's the double CD Electric World (1997), but I've not heard it since getting it some time ago. Might have to give it a listen later.
