Hello guys. I got a question. I was gifted a turntable (Pro-Ject Debut Carbon) and was wondering how to set it up. I have some decent bookshelf speakers, but do I need anything else to run it well?

My genius older brother somehow lost a band that went around the Sennheiser MX 980's. Anyone know where I can buy another one of these bands? I checked the Sennheiser spare parts, they said they didn't know what I was talking about. Left has the band, the right one doesn't.

According to your preferences I do believe that the sr80i's may be something you should look into. They also have a unique design.

Thanks for the response. I do not currently own an amplifier, which I assume is recommended if not necessary to power the headphones. So if I were to chose either the 250 or 600 Ohm model what differences can I expect to hear if each was amplified properly?
