FIRST IMPRESSIONS: Nuforce uDAC USB DAC AMP with line out and S/PDIF out
Just a quick question... I've been looking for a cheap amp/dac. I plan on connecting my amp/dac to my xbox/tv, and then my headphones to the amp/dac. I apologize if the answer is painfully obvious, but would this be possible with the nuforce udac?- Sterny

All iPod & mainly iPod Touch users, please comment
With my westone 1's on the bus I have it around 45-50%, which I think is a bit loud. With my hearyourself AE2's at home I have it at about 15% volume. I listen to rock, just something to keep in mind. 85% seems high, especially with your W2's.- Sterny

Hearyourself.com custom IEM discussion thread
Well, I just received my impression kit in the mail. I've decided to stick with the AE2's and try them out. If they aren't very good I can just return them. Besides, assuming that I do my impressions correctly, I'll be saving money in the long run. Impressions would normally cost me $80, and...- Sterny

Hearyourself.com custom IEM discussion thread
Just ordered a pair of AE2's, hopefully everything will work out. I was debating between the AE2's and the Livewire duals. I sided with the AE2's because of the return policy and the free impression kit. EDIT: Did a bit more research...does anyone recommend springing for the C2's so I have...- Sterny

Cheapest Quality Remolding Service?
I was also curious about this...after reading around I was under the impression that UM was the best choice. But...their site is not in English (well, the products section isn't).- Sterny

Used Customs
so if I were to purchase a pair of fairly good used customs and had them re-shelled, none of the SQ would be lost in the process? This is my greatest fear. Also, I'm getting the sense that purchasing a pair of cheap more prominent customs (such as a JH7 or westone ES3) would be more reliable...- Sterny

Used Customs
that's what I figured, I just wanted to make sure I wasn't passing up the deal of a lifetime. I'm debating between getting a pair of Alien Ears or Fidelity's...I've heard mixed reviews about both of them. I'm siding with the duals, as I think the triples would be too far out of my price...- Sterny

Used Customs
Hello everyone, I have recently decided to make the jump to customs. This has proved rather difficult so far, as I am a student and have a fairly limited budget. My question is concerning used custom IEMs. If I were to buy a pair of used Westone ES2's for a fraction of their retail price...- Sterny
