Thank you lucozade   If I understand correctly, the clarity of details of the golds is better than the IE8s? If so, apparently coming from the Coppers it would be much much worse...   I wonder if one gives the IE8s good burn in, accentuating those weak areas, wouldn't they improve...

Judging by the fact that you're looking for other tips, I guess you're not getting proper seal and thus no bass.   Try inserting the IEM as shown in the manual.

The forum is full of topics regarding the pros and cons of both IEMs, however the discussions are based on listening to music. I wonder what happens if we add to the equation movies and games.... which one of the them would best fit the term "universal" earbud?
