The Open Pandora: An ultimate portable player?
I liked your review, it does seem hard to believe that the Pandora actually sounds better than the Dragonfly. I'd like to see some objective measurements, like recording the output and comparing to the original signal. An "inferior" DAC can sound better for lossy tracks, as it does not make...- sswam

The Open Pandora: An ultimate portable player?
Quote: Wow, I'm very surprised and pleased also! Maybe our darling Pandora does have a valid claim to being a top-notch portable player, then, considering all the rave reviews of the dragonfly. Good work, mweston! :) Prediction: some sceptics will doubt your neutrality or...- sswam

The Open Pandora: An ultimate portable player?
I'm listening to Ronald Jenkees "Fifteen Fifty" on my Pandora with the Shure earbuds. Talk about high definition, it doesn't get much better than this in my experience! I highly recommend Ronald Jenkees' three albums. All of his music is totally awesome... even his raps! He...- sswam

Razor edge looks okay, it's like 2 * size of Pandora so not going to fit in a pocket that's for sure, might get sore arms holding it! Can run PC games which could be good. I'm guessing battery life would be only 2 or 3 hours gaming. I'd just use a regular laptop.- sswam

New Nvidia handheld android gaming device... will this crash and burn?
That would be pretty cool, sort of like the Pandora (but more powerful, no keyboard, not so open I guess...). I'd probably go for a phone + iControlPad 2 controller, rather than a dedicated gaming thing. But, it looks good. It'd be cool to see one that can run windows games.- sswam

You can decorate your Pandora to look how you please... here's some inspiration. (Art by Asmo) http://pandoria.org/gallery/asmo-cases/ Also shows some of the systems Pandora can emulate! (I've been working on the BBC Micro emulator.)- sswam

Doesn't look boring like an iphone, anyway. Mine get plenty of attention when I use them in public. People first impression is that it's a 3DS, then they get a good look at it, and seems to impress them. Quote: How can it be "classy" when every second person has one? ...- sswam

Shure SE535: Reviews and First Impressions Thread
I bought some Shure 535s, a year or so ago. I'm very happy with them: - great sound - strong construction - thick, strong cables - comfortable - block outside noise They were expensive, but I do not regret the purchase, that's for sure!- sswam
