zigy626 for how long you listened 7100?   At first indeed the bass is too much and boomy but after several weeks (3 in my case) the bass becomes normal and it still improves.   At first I was meh about this hp but with time they become much much better.

just an update from me: I didn't return the hp because I would loose too much money and with the money left I couldn't get anything better.   After 17 day the bass is almost normal, the sound stage is much bigger and deeper, the headphones got better in every aspect and they still improve...

there is no doubt 7100 are superior to 595.  In past 2-3 years I listened only my speakers so I kinda forgot how headphones sound. with every track I listen the sound becomes better. I have 1 week to decide if I keep them.
