Audio Technica ATH-PRO700MK2 review - Take two subwoofers...straight to the head.
One thing you don't hear a lot about the LP/LP2 is the absolute crap isolation. What I mean by that, is when you are playing music in any kind of environment that isn't noisy, everyone around you will hear what you are listening to at almost the same volume level. This annoyed me to no end and I...- slapshot30

Best Alternatives to Ipod
You can get yourself a Sansa Fuze for about 50 dollars or so. Leaves plenty of extra cash to get some new cans. If you can do without the bigger screen and scroll wheel, then just get the clipzip or clip and have even more leftover cash.- slapshot30

DT 770 Pro 80 ohm and general question about headphones?
Yea, those beyers will sound better than the M50. More bass, IF amped properly. I too thought the M50 was lacking in bass. I tried running the beyers (yes, 80 ohm) right out of my iPod and it just didn't work out that well. Does guitar center offer any other bassy headphones?- slapshot30

Ath pro700mk2 dt880 32 ohm vs dt770 32 ohm vs denon d2000 vs Sony mdr xb1000
Pure bass and you're rating both those above XB??? Pure bass, XB wins. Under that is the Pro700 mk2, its an absolute beast without the sound quality loss of the XB. The beyers didn't satisfy me at all in terms if bass quantity, and anyone who's tried all those will tell you both the xb and...- slapshot30

Which headphone is better? V-Moda Crossfade LP2 or Ultrasone HFI-780?
If you want a lot of bass, M50 isn't the way to go. Sent from my HTC PH39100 using Tapatalk- slapshot30

Best player for bass under/around $50
Quote: Quote: Alright, thanks guys. I just ordered the original Fuze because I like the use of a scroll wheel and I've heard the Fuze+ touch controls are a nightmare. In terms of using Rockbox on a device, is it really confusing? Is it hard to learn how to EQ on it, and are there...- slapshot30

Best player for bass under/around $50
Hey guys, just looking around for a cheap audio player with good SQ and a nice EQ for bass. I'm ordering some Ultrasone 580s. I've been looking at the clip+/fuze/clipzip but I've heard without rockbox, the eq isn't so great. Rockbox looks pretty confusing and dull, and I've never learned how to...- slapshot30

Best music player from Bestbuy
Quote: I'm looking for something with a touchscreen if I can, but I'll keep that in mind, thanks. Quote: Wow, I never thought about doing that. That's genius. Thanks for the tip, as Bestbuy doesn't have great selection and is pretty overpriced.- slapshot30

Best music player from Bestbuy
Hey guys, haven't been on here in a while and I sold most my audio gear to get a new phone so now I am in need of a portable source option. I got a bunch of gift cards to best buy so I'm hoping I can use some of those. Budget is less than 200 dollars for the possible sound quality portable...- slapshot30

Samsung Galaxy S Sound Quality
^ You might want to wait for some native Ice Cream Sandwich phones to pair with such high quality headphones. The new ICS phones are said to have an output port that can be used with a portable amp to bypass the internal one.- slapshot30

Samsung Galaxy S Sound Quality
Quote: No need to rockbox. Install the FREE Voodoo control app. You do not need the paid version because you already have a voodoo kernal. Don't mess with too much in the voodoo control app though. Maybe increase headphone output level if you're using hard to drive headphones. But from...- slapshot30

Galaxy S II source vs Cowon Questions for SE535
Samsung really dropped the ball on this one. All the rest of the Galaxy phones have the amazing Wolfson but the SII does not. They made a superior device spec wise with the SII but they forgot the sound quality . Hopefully they pick back up with the Galaxy Note or the Galaxy Prime. Actually, I...- slapshot30

Sound Quality Dilemma: Nexus S vs. Galaxy S vs. Desire S vs. iPhone 3GS
Quote: Just get a data toggle widget and turn off data when you don't need to connect to internet. It saves MANY hours of battery life. Data is one of the biggest battery killers, especially if you are ever in an area of low reception, your phone will just continue to search for a...- slapshot30

Sound Quality Dilemma: Nexus S vs. Galaxy S vs. Desire S vs. iPhone 3GS
Quote: Or instead of the APN trick just get a data toggle app/widget from the market, a lot to choose from. Custom ROMs also help a ton with managing battery. Although 2 batteries and a charger might sound great, these cheap foreign batteries are rubbish 99% of the time. They are not the...- slapshot30
