Headphone vs speakers.
Cans have their place for times like late night sessions but nothing beats a set of full range speakers in a well setup room. Upgrade as you see fit and can fund I say.- sjay

MSB Analog DAC? (Review p3)
This DAC appears to have made my Ayre KX5 and ARC Ref 3 pre-amps redundant, as is my beloved Jkenny MK3 SPDIF converter. The quad USB is very much the way to fly and coupled with A+ 2.5.2 upsampling to DSD 128 using both my FLAC library and Tidal is quite simply music to my ears. I have...- sjay

MSB Analog DAC? (Review p3)
Yes they sure are plump speakers and although they are meant to be stand mounted they sound just dandy where they are. There is a futon at the back of the room thats used as a listening position so although not perfect it still sounds awesome. My next upgrade was scheduled to be stands...- sjay

MSB Analog DAC? (Review p3)
finally got my hands on one of these babies to replace my M51, came with power base and quad usb and spdif interfaces on the second hand market. Prior to this upgrade I was running my macair into a jkenny spdif converter to reduce noise but using the USB direct into the MSB DAC is now 100%...- sjay

Yeah its a Woo Audio 6, with upgrades, thanks its a very simple solution, I did have it hooked up to various nfb's and an M51 but its just so nice to have a no hassle setup that's not bitchy like a high end setup can be, to stream spotify :) Before this i had DT880's>> Schiit Lyr >> NFB2...- sjay

Here is a pic of mine from today, decided to blow the dust of them and give them a bit of a run. I have a dedicated 2 channel room so cans are a secondary consideration for me :P Good combo though, very earthy and realistic reproduction :)- sjay

What track has the worst mastering you've ever heard?
try listening to it on a set of PMC speakers and you will see what i mean -
What track has the worst mastering you've ever heard?
Gnarles Barkley St Elsewhere is so badly mastered I can not listed to it on my system. Try listening to Crazy if you dont believe me! Argh, the engineer should be shot! -
