SoundMAGIC Vento Speculation/Discussion Thread
I think the almost mythical HP300 is still a work in progress. My understanding is that SoundMAGIC are going more the direction of an HP1000 (closed) and HP2000 (open), which are being designed from scratch and featuring SoundMAGIC's new driver technology (as per the Vento P55). I think...- shaun_g

UK Head-Fi'ers - Do you want to see a new, mystery SoundMAGIC product?
A brief update. SoundMAGIC went back to the drawing board with the Vento P55 back in November 2015. The P55 driver has been completely redesigned (the engineered over 60 revisions to get it perfect) and is just being relaunched now in August 2016. Good things come to those who wait! :)- shaun_g

SoundMAGIC VENTO P55 US & Canada Review Tours
Yes, the Vento P55 went back to the drawing board after a planned launch back in November 2015. The launch was pulled at the last minute and Tony Xu (owner and lead designer) went back to re-engineering the driver. A couple of review samples made it out, but we're told by SoundMAGIC that none...- shaun_g

SoundMAGIC Vento Speculation/Discussion Thread
Tony Xu at SoundMAGIC (owner and lead designer) is definitely aware of the issues with the design of the HP150/HP200 fork and will likely revisit these designs in the future. Also, a bit of hot news. We've seen initial designs of an HP1000, which is full size and very much in keeping with...- shaun_g

SoundMAGIC Vento P55 vs HP100/HP150
The SoundMAGIC Vento was due to be launched in November 2015, but was delayed by SoundMAGIC due to them being unhappy with the sound. The headphone design was complete back then, except for the speaker design. They've since been through over 60 revisions of the driver design to get it...- shaun_g

Aurisonics Bravo Series - Eva, Kicker, Forte and Harmony In-Ear Headphones
We've been giving the samples we received of these IEMs a good listen since they arrived and have been rather impressed by the way they sound. The new Aurisonics range makes complete sense and sound is nicely balanced throughout. Fans of the massively bass heavy ASG 2.5 will be disappointed...- shaun_g

Aurisonics ASG-2.5 Review by mark2410
@mark2410 Nice review! We're loving your style. @davidcotton We just checked our pricing and we messed up this end. We had the wrong RRP set by the distributor. The ASG 2.5 should have an RRP in the UK of £639. We've updated it on our site: ...- shaun_g

SoundMAGIC release E50S and E80S In-Ear Reference Series
Our experience with the ES20 is that it's very impressive indeed. The ES20 is much more neutral and better controlled than the ES18. The ES18 is a fun sounding earphone, but aimed at the mainstream with a big powerful bass. The ES20 is a more grown up headphone. The ES20 did have some...- shaun_g

Lotoo PAW 5000 now available from Hifiheadphones.co.uk
Thanks for the correction technobear. No deliberate misleading going on, just a mistake when we created the page. The product page was created before we had access to a physical sample and the PAW 5000's big brother (the PAW Gold) does support full size cards. There was probably a bit of copy...- shaun_g

Sennheiser Momentum vs Bowers & Wilkins (B&W) P7
Another one to throw in the mix is the Final Audio Design Pandora IV. The Pandora IV is a closed back design that is easy to drive and is just a little bit more expensive than the B&W P7. I would say the Pandora IV is a worthy alternative to the B&W P7.- shaun_g
