Audeze DSP presets now available in Roon
I've recently bought a pair of LCD-X and I'm really keen to play around with Roon to consider a long term purchase. Any chance there is a currently valid 60 day trial code?- Scottyj11

Step up in Head-Fi
I have pulled the trigger and ended up with a new pair of Audeze LCD-X. I bought an iFi hip-DAC as a budget source to initially drive them and have started by using my phone (Note 10+) streaming Tidal through the Universal Audio Player Pro app. I'm very interested in any insights or tips to...- Scottyj11

Step up in Head-Fi
I think I've narrowed down my considerations to Audeze-LCD-X or Focal Clear following reading/watching loads of reviews, listening to the limited selection of headphones I could get my hands on (including, Focal Elex, Meze 99C and Empyrean, old pair of LCD-3 with dodgey L channel and full range...- Scottyj11

Step up in Head-Fi
I'm curious about your experience with LCD-2C/X/3 and how they stack up to Quad ERA-1 and Focal Clear. I've got an opportunity for a great deal on an ex-demo pair of LCD-3s but recently heard a review that suggested the to end range is harsh and soundstage not what would be expected for the $...- Scottyj11

Step up in Head-Fi
Thanks for the responses. I anticipate listening in various places, mostly at a desk at home or at work, but wouldn't mind the flexibility of a portable DAC. What are your thoughts about the LCD-3 in comparison, especially if I can get a good price? Unfortunately not! I'm on the Sunshine Coast- Scottyj11

Step up in Head-Fi
Hello Head-Fiers, I've had great help from this community in the past and am looking for some feedback and guidance as I navigate a decent entry point into the hifi headphone market. I'm anticipating rewarding myself with a pair of decent headphones paired with DAC/amp in the next couple...- Scottyj11

Portable MQA compatible DACs
Head-fiers, I'm looking to enter the market of mid-range headphones and a decent paired headphone amp/DAC to fill a gap in Hifi stereo listening. I've come to piece with the fact that a decent stereo and speaker set up is unlikely currently with a young family. I'm enjoying my Tidal...- Scottyj11

I'm after a couple pieces of advice or suggestions relating to affordable MQA capable in line DAC and BT headphones. I'm anticipating getting a Samsung Galaxy Note 10 this week. In-ear 'Bang for Buck' with Fiio X5
I had the opportunity to listen to Westone W40 and shure 535, but not the IE80. I ave previously had a pair of IE8s. I also listened to the new RHA T20s, which come in a couple hundred $ less than these others. Being significantly impressed with the sound, build quality and 4 year warranty...- Scottyj11

Sennheiser ie80, RHA T10, or DUNU DN-1000?
I'm having the same dilemma. Came home with T20s having walked into a shop to buy IE80s (the T20 were in stock, IE80s - not). I think I'm going to bite the bullet, crack the seal and try the RHAs...- Scottyj11

RHA - T20 - Impressions, Reviews, and questions
I was after a pair of Sennheiser IE80s. Went into a store with many models available to demo: RHA T20 Westone 30 Shure SE535 Final Audio Heaven V They did NOT have IE80 to demo. Of all the testing, and with price in mind I've taken home the RHA T20. Having just read the...- Scottyj11
