    I spent 40 minutes auditioning the HA-2 with an iPod Classic and an iPhone 5 as the sources and using my Ety in-ears. Sadly, I concluded that the Oppo simply did not sufficiently improve the SQ over my iPhone to justify purchasing it. This was disappointing as I'd gone intending to take it away...

    Good and thorough review. I am very pleased with my Sonos system (Play 1, Play 3, Playbar and Sub). It is on all day for music and used with TV at night. SQ is superb but particularly good with 16/44.1

    Shane, thanks for feedback. Interestingly, someone on this site reckons the output from his iPhone worked better with his 846's than the A200p; he returned it! Don't you think these devices should be markedly superior to justify their existence? Jamie Lendino from PC Mag was very unimpressed...
