Cowon J3 Impressions Thread
I had a genuine moment of terror this morning, around 4am, when getting ready to go the gym. As I always do ... I checked the power on my aged, slightly beat to **** Cowon J3 by turning it on briefly to observe the battery meter. Noting the meter almost empty, I powered off and plugged in the...- s1rrah

Comment by 's1rrah' in item 'KZ ZST'
I've had a pair for about a month ... using them with the Comply foam tips and man ... they are astonishing. I recently lost my Shure SE530's and honestly? It didn't hurt a bit as these are 90% of the Shures ... LOL at the $17.00 price tag. Man ...- s1rrah

Cowon J3 Impressions Thread
My J3 just refuses to die; I guess this is a good thing. Such a great DAP. I honestly lose sleep thinking that it will one day fail (which it will) ... but man, what a DAP! Going strong for years. The side buttons. The GODLIKE battery life. The fact I can put a fat ass SD card in it? <sigh>...- s1rrah

My Comparison between Apple Earbuds - KZ ZS3 - KZ ZS5
I'm a n00b to the whole KZ IEM thing ... but have been really impressed with the ATE's as well as the ZS3's ... I enjoy them both but find the ZS3's to be much more articulate ... better freq separation, etc ... What I can say about BOTH, however is that they are SO much better for me when...- s1rrah

KZ ATE Comparisons for the undecided
I've been listening to a pair of KZ ATE's with the Comply T500 Isolation tips (the KZ supplied tips are garbage IMHO) ... and man am I impressed; compared to my go-to Shure SE535's? LOL ... the Shures sound, quite literally, *surgical* in comparison; ... but man are the KZ ATE's super fun; the...- s1rrah

SE846 custom moulds
This is one option; I've heard good things about this company ... it's not like a *complete* custom mold but pretty much accomplishes the same thing without breaking your SE846's open ... https://store.sensaphonics.com/ProductDetails.asp?ProductCode=SE846+Earphones+with+Sleeves ... KZ ATE - any EQ settings/suggestions?
I use Shure SE535's for my more "critical" portable listening but recently made the whopping $13 investment in a set of KZ ATE's; boy are they some mighty fine budget IEMs! Anyway, I find them to be just a tad bit bloated/"woolen" in the bass region and have been messing around with very...- s1rrah

KZ-ATE - need aftermarket tip suggestions
Bought a pair of KZ-ATE IEM's off of Amazon for $14.00. As many have said, the performance/cost is unbelievable and I'm going to enjoy having the KZ's as backups to my Shure SE535's ... But the tips on the KZ-ATE's really suck in my opinion. The nozzle is particularly fat, I'd say 2 to 3...- s1rrah
