upgrade wired InEars (SD-2) with Bluetooth Module / Amp

Bluetooth module would be the best and easiest solution because bluetooth cable sucks, to be honest. Also the recessed sockets of the SD2 means that not all 2 pin cable will fit, moreover if we're talking about the KZ cable. Something like Plusssound bluetooth cable would fit but it's very...

Audeze iSINE 10 & iSINE 20: Audeze releases two new IEM planar magnetic earphones

Because for a built-in DAC (also its DSP etc) to work you need a digital output. 3.5mm headphone jack is unfortunately an analog output, thus it is not possible to incorporate a DAC with it.

Audeze iSINE 10 & iSINE 20: Audeze releases two new IEM planar magnetic earphones

Wow nice, I wonder when they will be in stock in Europe. If the sound is the same as the Cipher cable I most definitely would get one because the Cipher cable is too damned long. I'm starting to find usage of my iSine despite its lack of isolation so a wireless one would be really neat. Does...

    Any on-ears better than Beyerdynamic T51i ?

The Cipher cable is just an external DAC/amp+DSP built it into the cable, so yeah it takes digital out from iPhone and does the DA conversion and EQ inside. Basically with the Cipher, you don't need to buy the Audioquest Dragonfly (except if you have other use for it, like for laptop or...

    Any on-ears better than Beyerdynamic T51i ?

If you're using Apple products, the Audeze Sine with Cipher cable might be your best bet. Comfort isn't the best but the clamp can be adjusted by bending out the headband. So far I'm liking mine very much. Check if your local Apple store carries it so you can test it first.

Audeze iSINE 10 & iSINE 20: Audeze releases two new IEM planar magnetic earphones

Probably because of software compatibility. With iOS, Audeze only needs to make one version of the firmware and they're pretty much guaranteed to work with any device using iOS. On the other hand, Android comes in different modified/customized Android and because of that the compatibility across...

    Audeze SINE Series

Ordered a pair of Aurvana pads on Monday and just earlier I was walking home with the Sine and after wearing them for like 30 mins I thought to myself "goddamn this hurts, yeah.". Then arrived home to find an envelope with my Aurvana pads inside. Lucky! Immediately installed them and put the...

Listening to 2 inputs at the same time?

Hmm nope, can't really have both digital and analog coming in and out together. I used to have 2 DACs, one for PC (USB) and one for PS4 (Optical) and connect the RCA of both to an audio switch called the TC-716 then it output RCA to my headphone amp. Or you can use HDMI splitter with RCA output...

Audeze iSINE 10 & iSINE 20: Audeze releases two new IEM planar magnetic earphones

Not sure, I once bought the CS819 and while it could go into the socket, it didn't seem to fit tightly. A bit of tug when the cable was swinging would be enough to unplug one side, so I sold it. Maybe others have different experience?

    Audeze SINE Series

By the way does anyone know the price of Vesper over ear pads for these? I could try and will probably try but apparently just realized that the max volume of my G6 is 75 instead of 100! I got no headroom on this phone and lowering the ReplayGain on foobar app and EQ'ing it kinda made it sound...

    Audeze SINE Series

Oh good point, never thought maybe the EQ itself is problematic. I'm using the built in EQ in foobar. And yeah I did EQ up the 1.8 - 3.5 kHz. Did you mean this thread? I could probably use his setting but gotta find another EQ app that doesn't clip first.

    Audeze SINE Series

So I bought the Sine for portable use that is easier than my CIEM. They sound nice overall except female vocal seems to sound kinda dry. And I thought no problem, EQ will solve it. I'm using foobar on LG G6 with quad DAC with volume at 69, almost at max according to the volume bar. When I...

Audeze iSINE 10 & iSINE 20: Audeze releases two new IEM planar magnetic earphones

Oh you're buying the Ultimate one, no wonder it costs 150€. But careful there, it's 150€ for 1m, the 1.2m is 160€. I myself would be satisfied with the Reference one that costs cheaper, but the decision is yours.

Audeze iSINE 10 & iSINE 20: Audeze releases two new IEM planar magnetic earphones

It actually costs 116€ shipped for a 1.2m with 2.5mm balanced, so yeah I think it's worth it. More the so if you're planning to stay with your iSine for a long time. Also you can return it in 15 days if you don't like it. But yeah, buying a cable that is meant for the iSine would save more time...
