Hi Cotnijoe... (Sorry for the delayed response...) Yes, the boom sound can be turned off IF you connect the phone output to the D14's analogue in. 1st day with Fiio X3ii... is (a bit?) disappointing...
I just bought an X3ii + iBasso D14 to go with the Westone W30 IEM's I bought a few weeks ago... I won't bore you with my auditory assessments as my aged and (seriously) dilapidated ears are probably worthless to most of you... Please help me with my survey (about storage)
I have about 200 GB for music (mostly flac) and another 2 TB in movies, etc. Music files are stored on a 3 TB internal hard disk and on a 3 TB QNAP NAS (RAID 1). Agreed - totally! Only bought them a couple of days ago and they're the best sound I've heard in years! Only one other con... The springs on the head paddles are too weak! I find that the headphones slide down my head and rest on top of my ears. Annoying and tiresome... However (!) a...- RobSys
