IMHO Solitaire T has great passive isolation and sounds great on its own in HQ mode. I almost never use the active noise cancelling as it sounds noticeably worse to me. I have used the Solitaire T only in passive mode connected to SP3000 and it sounds great, better definition and more spacious...
