iFi audio LAN iSilencer - Your network. Silenced.
Wonderful. Since my routers and modems are all 12V, so I could go with one iPower X first and see which component shows the most improvement with the iPower X. Then add things one at a time. Thanks for testing all these combinations out! BTW, have you got a version of the Topping P50 which...- Rantenti

iFi audio LAN iSilencer - Your network. Silenced.
Looking forward to the results! Have a great evening. And BTW, after reading through the ifi website, it appears that the LAN isilencer is a PASSIVE isolator while their other products, eg. iPower X/ USB iSilencer etc are active noise cancelling devices. Please correct me if I'm wrong.- Rantenti

iFi audio LAN iSilencer - Your network. Silenced.
My streamer is the MiniDSP SHD Studio, DAC is the Holo Audio Spring 3 KTE, the subsequent chain is, I might say, very resolving. The streamer is fed by a Nuprime LPS-212, however, with the addition of an independent router, I will need either another LPS or the iPower X for the router. Broadband...- Rantenti

iFi audio LAN iSilencer - Your network. Silenced.
I am considering buying either an iPower X (for either the modem or the router) or the LAN isilencer. Which one will likely benefit the most? 1. ipower X for modem 2. ipower X for router 3. LAN isilencer between modem and router- Rantenti

iFi audio LAN iSilencer - Your network. Silenced.
I have this internet connection scheme at home: Fiber optic into home -- Modem -- LAN cable -- router A // wifi // Router B receives wifi signal -- LAN cable -- streamer I was wondering if there is any place for LAN isolators in my chain since my streamer appears to be completely isolated from...- Rantenti

Good to hear. Are you using a tube amp for the Ananda?- Rantenti

Gustard X26 Pro Dual ES9038PRO DAC
I gather "Old Ananda" refers to the non-stealth version. Will appreciate it if you could share in what aspects it was better than the HEKSe. I've heard good things about the non-stealth Ananda.- Rantenti

Holo Audio Bliss
Gustard X26 Pro with Gustard U18 It's better when using the Holo Spring 3 KTE. BTW, the X26 also gets softer (less ringing) when using gentle mode (versus vivid / composite filter) The Bliss is supposedly tuned for the Susvara and I do note a slightly less "forwardness" of the treble comparing...- Rantenti

Holo Audio Bliss
The Bliss has more than enough juice for the HE1000se, for orchestral music, the stage and details should be very well presented. Bass will be great. As for some other music eg. voice/ violin, you might find the treble slightly sharp. Could use some very slight EQ.- Rantenti

I have not made up my mind yet, guess I need to experiment a bit by trial and error for each pairing of equipment setup. For example, I use 0.5mm-0.7mm single solid core silver or silver-gold wires in teflon tubes with inner diameter approx. double the diameter of the wire for interconnects for...- Rantenti

Holo Audio Bliss
I tried the Bliss KTE and the Serene L1 on the same two-channel speaker setup using the Holo Spring 3 KTE as DAC. Comparatively, the Bliss KTE sounds more treble-forward, with more excitement and a very open soundstage. Not harsh in any way but has a very high resolution. There could be...- Rantenti

you are indeed correct. fabrics eg cotton has lower dielectric constant than teflon, it works well in making interconnects etc RCA/ XLR cables. However, using oversized teflon tubes is easy and air has the lowest dilectric constant of all materials on Earth. The wires are bascially mostly in...- Rantenti

PTFE/ Teflon with air dielectric is the best, and much easier to put the wire into the tube than tight-fitting tubes. Teflon tubes can be easily and cheaply bought from aliexpress, one could experiment with various diameters and wall thickness.- Rantenti

I think that wire no. 20 is bare, supposedly a drain wire for the outer shield, so I was thinking if it should be connected to only one side of the connector body.- Rantenti

oh, the photo is just one of my references when I was searching for the shielding structure of various bulk HDMI cables. And I noticed a wire no.20 in this particular bulk caboe where the HDMI connector only has 19 soldering connection points. I intend to build one from bare solid wires, teflon...- Rantenti
