Bowers & Wilkins PX7 noise-cancelling over ear headphones
My replacement PX7 came today. Quite possibly psychological, but I think this pair is a tad less muffled sounding. No problems with them so far. The only unique identifier I found on the on the package was on the barcode the first pair had “19.10” and the replacement has “19.11”. Who knows if...- randy98mtu

Bowers & Wilkins PX7 noise-cancelling over ear headphones
After more listening they are growing on me. They are still a little muffled. The bass is really awesome. They are really comfortable. I am going to exchange them because the left cup has cut in and out a couple of times. I tap on the cup and it comes back on. Clearly shouldn't happen with...- randy98mtu

Bowers & Wilkins PX7 noise-cancelling over ear headphones
Well I'm only about 10 minutes in, but I currently think the sound is a bit muffled. Comfort is good. Noise cancelling is outstanding. Need to give them some time and compare them to my P7W, but seems the P7W may be hard to dethrone. Still I may sell the PX and keep the PX7 for flights...- randy98mtu

Bowers & Wilkins PX7 noise-cancelling over ear headphones
I just sprang for the PX7's. They are due here Saturday. I started with B&W back in P7 (original). I've tried a TON of headphones since then. My favorite is still the P7W. I got the PX and enjoy them on flights, but they don't sound as good and aren't as comfortable. So with all of the...- randy98mtu

Bowers & Wilkins PX Noise-Cancelling Over-ears
Very tempted. I have the P7W that I use every day now and I also have the P9’s, which I rarely use because I have just stopped using wired cans. My biggest gripe with the PX design is that it’s isn’t a folding design but rather a flat style. I have always had folding styles and right now they...- randy98mtu

Bowers&Wilkins new flagship the P9!
To me they are both the best I've ever used. The P7W has a big better bass I think. The P9 is a bit more refined and has a tad better detail and separation. I really enjoy using both.- randy98mtu

I agree 100%. This is similar to the photography adage "the best camera is the one you have with you." I don't have my P9's and an amp with me all the time. That is my #1 preferred headphone with an amp or Dragonfly Red, but if I don't have room for that, the P7 Wireless sounds really almost...- randy98mtu

Bowers&Wilkins new flagship the P9!
Yes, the drivers are angled toward the back of your head. I just sold my Z7's after buying the P9's. And then the P7W inspired me to sell every other headphone I have aside from the P9. Then I picked up AirPods and now I feel like I am 100% set. I love this trio. P9 at my desk at work...- randy98mtu

Bowers&Wilkins new flagship the P9!
My old Z7's are on the for sale forum if you are interested. ;) Surprisingly the P9 has better/more/deeper bass. They are also more detailed and have better staging and feel more open. I was surprised when I did side by sides. It wasn't even really close. The Z7 was more comfortable, but that...- randy98mtu

AirPods
The regular EarPods don't fit me well at all. These have been in most of the day and I just forget they are in. I don't work out, so can't help you there. The more I listen to these the more impressed I am with their sound quality. Not hanging with any of the mid-fi around ears I've...- randy98mtu

AirPods
I stopped by the Apple Store yesterday to pick up some Beats X. The guy said they had AirPods in stock. I put a demo unit in while he was getting the Beats X and decided I'd give them a try as well. My impressions of the 2 were completely the opposite of what I expected! The Beats are going...- randy98mtu

I wasn't worried about them lasting. I was worried about not enjoying headphones that cost me $900!!!- randy98mtu

Bowers&Wilkins new flagship the P9!
I picked up my second pair tonight. No creaks and I'm again blown away by these things. I can deal with a wire if it delivers sound like this! Hopefully these don't start creaking. I did spring for the warranty through Best Buy though.- randy98mtu

Bowers & Wilkins P7 Wireless - Impressions Thread
I found a couple of threads. I am currently working my way through this "Reference" list. Some stuff is not for me, but they really do each bring out some phenomenal features of headphones. I'm on my replacement P9's now (creaking ear cup on the first set) and I'm really blown away.- randy98mtu
