not sure, the statement to be super cost effective might means KZ opting for cheaper DD. despite KZ bravado, the previous supercheap, EDX-lite wasn't that well recieved. hopefully this one will be better.

lotsa people praised that one super-linear DD it now have rather fetching shell, possibly waifu box, and had they tuned really well... --- long ago people bitch about KZ/CCA have rather confusing naming scheme with CXS, CKX, CRA and CCA decided to actually named their iem, with constellation...

If it for purple, i would recommend Blon Jojo interesting thought process, but does it gonna work like putting a filter on top of another filter? "oh this filter good for treble and this other one is good for low, lets stack them." and only ended having super dense filter that might not...

I think i saw ads for dual membrane DD from a DD makers. but on that one, one layer is on the top of the dd and the other is on the bottom. giving like a dual sided drum design. The graph in KS10 shows this might be stacked on top each other. directly dual layering it...

Supposedly, KBEAR KS10 (1DD+4BA, $48) https://www.aliexpress.us/item/3256806768290024.html the listing interestingly written as KBEAR ZS10. --- there this feel of, "its so last season material" with this iem, especially facing KZ ZS10 Pro2 and TRN ST7 who are cheaper than this iem...

If i recalled it right, AmericanSpirit collab to make Butastur But that collab cause him to be listed as iem-makers, so everypost he made will be delayed as it need to be reviewed by mods first. I think he now move to hifiguides or something

Hifri is madman that dissect/teardown iems and closer to be driver-reviewer than iem reviewer https://www.youtube.com/@hi-friaudioman/videos https://www.facebook.com/Seventhdaysavior later he start doing a small scale production of his own iems, HiFri Aphex and two other model. but he is...

I can only parrot other people word but Hifri stated that Bellsing could compete with Knowles and Sonion in mids but Treble and ultra high? Bellsing still noticably behind in quality. at one point, Campfire uses Bellsings for their expensive iems, so one might wonder what their profit margin...

Hifri noted that he could make a good iem with fancy driver like Knowles and Sonion for less than $120~$150 and still make decent profit. Chifi have production scale with them that could lower that production cost and get bigger margin.

    Knowledge Zenith (KZ) impressions thread

CCA used to have 7 driver in relatively small shell with CKX (1DD + 7BA) You could see how small it is compared to ZSX or ZAX but its no longer doable at least for now as their current design language with soundtubing and bigger crossover (+switches) will take more space.
