Absolutely! Thank you for the response. Living in New Zealand, my options for the used market are limited unless a seller is okay with international shipping haha. There's a couple listings from some folks in Canada. Tempted to contact and ask about it. If I'm unable to get the "e" model, I'm...- PlanarBunny

I think I’d be keen for some more lows and a general well rounded improvement. I think what I love most about the SR80e I’ve got is vocals and mids. I think generally any of the X series might be up my alley but I’m thinking sr225x. I used to have a hemp and it was awesome.- PlanarBunny

I just really love the SR80e sound. Anything similar to it but an upgrade of it would be nice. Maybe sr325e if I could find it? Or sr225x. Hard to pick between all these options because some people love the e series and some like the x series updates. And some resent the x series updates. Funds...- PlanarBunny

Gonna be honest I’m very torn between buying a 225x and 325x. Thing is, either would be a nice enough upgrade over the used SR80e I bought. Used to have a hemp before my move but I sold it and I’m getting back into grados. Bought the SR80e second-hand and I’m addicted to the grado sound again...- PlanarBunny

How’s the Vali 3? I used to have a Vali 2+ and tbh I loved it. With the right tube it can have much better depth and staging compared to the Magni. Feeding my SR80e with a Nitsch Piety in high gain (using a D30 Pro in preamp mode to reduce the volume to use the pot better on the Piety lol. It’s...- PlanarBunny

Just showing a bit of love. I used to have a Grado Hemp when I lived in the States, but I moved to be with my partner in another country. I sold my Hemp for a bit of extra cash but I’m beating myself over the head now. I should’ve just kept it, they were quite special haha. Anyways, I missed...- PlanarBunny

Sennheiser HD 660S2 thread
I've had the Arya v2 before. Totally different beast. Really great staging. 660s2 has staging just above hd600 imo but i wouldn't go to a 600 type headphone for soundstage anyways. I find that in general Hifiman's headphones have been really great for live stage performance-type albums (as long...- PlanarBunny

LCD-X and XC Update
There’s a lot to catch up on with what pads work well with LCDX but, I’d just like to ask up front what your favorites are? I currently use the new stock pads on LCDX with the stock sound. Never been crazy about EQing, I enjoy experiencing the stock sound of headphones.- PlanarBunny

NITSCH x Schiit Magni Piety - Impressions Thread
LCDX and piety is such a great combo. Volume adjustment gets a bit tricky since they’re so damn efficient though. I have a topping D30 Pro that I can use to help volume adjustment but I particularly just love to pair the piety with my modi Multibit 1.- PlanarBunny

NITSCH x Schiit Magni Piety - Impressions Thread
So fellas, what’s your favourite headphones combo’d with piety? Currently running my 580 on it with a modi multibit 1 dac. Luckily all my cans sound great out of it. I’ve got Elex, 600, 660s2, LCD-X. All kick ass.- PlanarBunny

I've enjoyed my time with these, but I'm moving soon and would like to downsize a little. First thing I wanna get out of the way, I'm the second owner and they're in great condition, however, if you see that metal cuff on the left, I put that there to hold it from sliding down. I can include a...- PlanarBunny

Moving to a new country and my Piety and A30 Pro don't need any adjusting for voltage, just new cables. The Asgard I have to send in and get readjusted, but I don't really feel like sending it in just for it to collect dust again. I use my other two amps way more. I'd rather sell it to someone...- PlanarBunny

Got the Hemps several months ago and I absolutely love em. Favorite pads are the Geekria L pads! They have a similar comfort to the G pads but sound closer to an F pad because of how close my ear is to the driver, and because of the driver still being exposed unlike with an S pad, Yaxi, or...- PlanarBunny
