That's awesome, that's means it is likely the last revision of the LCD-4 and is probably worth more generally. We both have D8kPLE and LCD-4. :beerchug:

I don't remember it sounding mid forward, but it is honestly kind of hard to tell on a show floor. Besides detail it sounded big and aggressive. I'm sensitive to 900-1200ish and it did not seem excessive at my weak point.

I also tried them at AXPONA. I sold my personal Susvara but was able to try the same track within a couple minutes of the Immanis and a demo Susvara at the event. I had no ability to volume match while I was there. All I can say is Immanis sounded the most detailed out of everything I heard but...

I have the "bad" pads. I have the second generation pads, not the best sounding original pads that break the drivers and not the safe newer post 2021 pads.

I think mine is great stock, very chill tuning. Like a classy dark tuning. However, I still use EQ to make it about half as dark sounding most of the time.
