New RHA IEMs: The MA750i and MA600i

So I lost my Xiaomi Iron HDs a few days ago and I thought now the time has come to make a more serious investment. After some researching my eye has fallen on these - they seem to be reasonably balanced and have a, for an IEM, good soundstage. The warranty is the cherry on top. Are these a good...

The Beyerdynamic Byron Series (IFA 2016)

I have the Xiaomi Iron Pro now but the left channel is acting up. I'm considering buying the wired Byron. The reviews on the net are ranging from great to really great. Any opinions / experiences on the wired one? Would it be a big / noticeable upgrade?

Lost in the woods of my first decent set of headphones. Tried a few, but can't seem to find what I like!

So I can only get the Momentums for around the MSRP here in Europe which is a bit too far above my budget. Maybe I'll stick with the M50x. They seem to be a decent jack of all trades - option.

Thank you! I hadn't stumbled upon the thread you linked to - it's one of those threads that makes this place awe-inspiring. The amount of work, writing and critical listening some of you folks go to is fantastic. I'll look in to the Momentum although they seem a little above budget. Thanks for...

Sorry, I forgot about that. Will also update my original post.    Isolation would be necessary - i'd like to use them at work. The budget is about €/$ 180 but I'm willing to go a bit higher if it makes a massive difference.

Lost in the woods of my first decent set of headphones. Tried a few, but can't seem to find what I like!

Hi there,    For a few months now I've been researching and trying headphones for my first 'real' set. I owned a set of KNS6400 but I sold them because they sounded joyless to me: they really are studio headphones and not very suitable for home listening.    I ordered the Sony MDR1A because...

    Sony MDR-1A - Sony's latest update on the 1R

So I took the plunge and I thought I might as well post a few impressions here. First some nice words for the packaging: they really feel like a luxury product. Fantastic.    When I took them out of the box and plugged them in my macbook I was initially taken aback a bit. It sounded good but...

    Sony MDR-1A - Sony's latest update on the 1R

So I just posted this in the advice section but I'd like to present this question here too.  I've been looking for a decent upgrade for my three year old Philips Cityscape Uptown which is decent but not great in any way. I want a good headphone for both out and about and home use. I also own...

    Sony MDR - 1A for €140. A good deal?

So I've been looking for a decent upgrade for my three year old Philips Cityscape Uptown - I want a good headphone for both out and about and home use. I also own the KRK KNS 6400 but I almost never use them. They are too detailed and sort of , well, joyless. I'm looking for a good, detailed...
