I use three 1.5TB cards with my SP3000. To avoid repeated mounting, I use a USB-C Micro SD card reader for two cards, with another left permanently in the SP3000. I have done repeated testing, and there is no difference in sound quality.

Yes, I have a Yatono Ultimate and also a PW Audio Orpheus 4.4 to 4.4 interconnect, so will do some comparisons over the next few weeks to hear what the differences are before investing in any other cables. It will be interesting to read your thoughts on the Shirogone when it arrives.

Has anyone tried using a 1.5TB card with the SP3000? SanDisk are now selling this size on Amazon, but I want to make sure it is compatible first.

Don't know if this is of any help; I have/had issues copying music to the SP3000 when it is connected to a Windows PC. Sometimes it crashes and other times it shuts down before completion. However, if I have the unit playing music it copies perfectly with no issues. This is to either the...
